rwcstang replied to MikeStang's topic in All mustang products and vendors
Wow that's a bad horror story... I've only used them once never had a problem. Was this the same person you spoke with The whole time when u first placed the order? Did u speak with a supervisor? You coudlve gotten a radiator at ur local parts store. It's better to deal locally then go back and fourth over the phone its a headache. Try mustangsplus I had nothing but good experiences with them. -

Well I would never go with over seas stuff. There are many options you can go with. You can go with a Whole rebuild kit from mustangsplus grab a track or you can get a replacement from a local parts store most of these parts have life time warranty.

if the upper a-arm doesnt show sign of wear or hairline cracks they i say rebuild it. If not I suggest replacing them.

like the above said ^^^ it could also be a bad or loose hose in the vacccum modulator, the linkage needs re-adjusting or like ur friend said needs some additive, Try using red line transmission additive it worked in my old c4 until the trans gave out in my drive way. or you can just rebuild it or buy one that can take up to 1000hp. :) thats what i did i bought the PA street fighter that can hold up to 450hp

yeah I agree looks good my selection has come to do these since racelines are $$$$ so i decided to go either with these two: centerline "Lazer" wheels anthracite fr500s (cheaper)

thats great! i've been debating what size tire to go with with my fr500s what are the front suspension mods that made you fit the 9"?
-
they have a few versions the rs400, 500, 600 (like the tkos 500, 600) its much smaller, its a redesigned t45 housing with better quality parts.
-
Go for the their rs version much cheaper and you dont have to modify the tunnel. i got quoted about 3600. much lower than the TKO lol
-
your better off finding a roller thats in better condition or a dynacorn body. If the price was right though I would take it just to have it as a spare parts car. I hate seeing beautiful cars like that rusting away...sad.

Time to build up the 393 a bit more, next mod?
rwcstang replied to 1BAD351's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Same here, strokers love to breathe. From what ppl have said that one has the billet parts which is better for accurate tunning, there is another without the billet parts for like 100 dollars less. Im stumped when it comes to carbs as well, like other said give them a call and they can probably recommend u one. -
nice build!
