For what it is worth, on my 66, I have penciled in no more than 0.030" of wear. 60 thou seems a bit excessive.

There is no absolute calibration with Ford gauges. That said, all oil, fuel and water temperature gauges are controlled by the constant voltage regulator. The only gauge that can be "calibrated" is the fuel gauge. What I do is monitor gas mileage and when I have a quarter of a tank of gas, I adjust the CVR (there's a trim pot on the back side) so that the gauge reads quarter tank. That adjustment will affect the other gauges accordingly. To answer your question, somewhere in the middle of the range.

According to the Shop Manual, the nominal rotor dimension is 0.935 inches.

You'll need the parking brake switch, which was an option with the light. You probably do not have the switch itself. In which case, simply ignore the wires.

Well, the I terminal should have power with the VR unplugged and the key on ACC for 1969's but lowered voltage due to a resistor wire required to energize the VR if the alternator lamp bulb goes out. When the VR is unplugged, it will have a full 12V due to no current load. The lamp compares the output of the VR (or the ACC-induced power) to RUN-only power when the key is in the RUN position. I'll bet you'll get the lamp to light up by putting the key in RUN but not running the engine.

Sales will be outlawed in another year or two but usage is not outlawed.
