  1. hi, i want to install fan thermal clutch to my 1969 stang. it has 351 W engine, but originally there was 250 engine and radiator and fan are still 250. currently i have 1-3/4" spacer between water pump and fan. mustangsunlimited sells thermal clutch, but this depth is 3-3/4" and according to them it should fit to my car ...I wonder how 2" thicker clutch should fit there? Does anybody have experience with installing fan clutch? here is the product: http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy01.asp?T1=NM1001+01&Category=&catkey=emustang
  2. I already contacted Randall, he promised to send me new ones. But I'm not sure if he sends me correct ones. Lets see. Thanks.
  3. Hi, I bought rack and pinion kit from Randall. Everything works fine except hoses. Hoses that were included in this kit are not really high pressure hoses - they started both leaking right away. I would like to buy new ones or fix old ones, but problem is that in my home country we have metric system and nobody is providing inch system hoses. Can anyone suggest where i can buy new correct hoses for my car (i have 1969 351 W)? I can post pictures if needed.
  4. Have you lowered your front? Does anybody have experience 235/50/17? what is your wheel offset?
  5. Can i buy Edelbrock 454 wheels somewhere. They look better than these i planned to buy from www.mustangsunlimited.com
  6. thanks. you have 40 tires, i plan to have 55. what do you think, do they fit? 40 is too thin tire, as we have awful roads in my home country ...
  7. I'm planning to buy new wheels and tires to my 69 fastback. i'm thinking to go for WHEEL ELEANOR-STYLE 454 17"x 8" 65/73 (ULTRA) with PZERO NERO 235/55R17 PIRELLI tires. Does anybody have experience if they fit to my car. I mean maybe 17" with 55 tires are too big? i have bad experiance with my Jaguar XJS - I also changed from 15" wheel to 17" and they were little too big. So i bought second set of wheels with smaller offset for front wheels and now it fits barely.
  8. read somewhere in forum that swaping from glue-in to bolt-in was the best modification/upgrade he ever made to his car. can anybody comment what makes (if at all) such huge difference and is it worth it (i mean it is going to cost: $400 for glasses, $250 for bracket kit, ??? transport to Europe + taxes + work) ? as for me, it does not matter how door windows go up and down ...
  9. what is standard bolt pattern for 1969 fastback. is 5 x 4-1/2" bolt pattern?

  13. 69 has two types of door glasses. 69- early 70 (before 10/69) glue-in window or late 70 (after 10/69) bolt in window. has anybody experience with that and tell what is the difference between these two.
