I have a 69 Mach 1 S code project for sale. Original engine/tranny were removed by a previous owner years ago and I don't have them. It currently has what I was told is a 289 with a 4 speed in it now but I have not verified it. It currently does not run and I have not tried to get it running because I'm always out of town and I don't really feel like messing with it when I am in town. Living in an apartment with a one car garage limits what I can do to it also. It's an original 4 speed car with PS and PDB and that's it as far as options go. It was Black Jade with a black interior originally. Outside is a very faded white from an earlier paint job many years ago. Car needs a total restoration but it is not the typical rust bucket like most early mustang projects are. PS pump and engine mounting brackets for the pump are missing but the rest of the system is still intact. Console is also missing. Everything else is still there and in assembled condition. I have a deluxe Marti report verifying it as a real Mach 1. I was going to restore it back to original condition but have since decided I don't want to sink all the money required to make it nice again. I have purchased a correct S code intake, carb and the complete and correct 69 specific 390-4V air cleaner since I bought the car late last year. I have a friend who has a mid 68 390 S code long block that he can sell if your interested also. That would be the major engine parts needed to go back to original. This car was actually built on 12/5/68 so the mid 68 dated engine my friend has is a little too early for this particular car but it's at least in the same year and predates the cars actual build date. VIN starts out 9F02S. I can have a friend show the car to anyone who want's to see it while I'm out of town. I will be in town from 4/2 to 4/12 and then will be gone for over a month after that. I also have a new set of those new TMI Mach 1 Sport R seat covers (F & R) with a pair of front replacement seat foam that I'm including to. Clear TX title in my name. $12,000 OBO for everything mentioned including my friend's S code long block. Sorry but I can't send you any pics until I get back in town in early April.
