  1. Do you still have access to the headliner bows?
  2. I need a good set of 69 headlight buckets. I have a set with broken tabs so I'm looking for undamaged pieces. EDIT: I found a passenger side bucket. I now just need the driver side.
  3. I just found a set yesterday and had them shipped. I won't be home for a while to check them out but if they don't work out I'll get up with you for sure. Thanks
  4. I finally had a chance to remove the cover on one of the 70 seats. The seat back frame wasn't drilled to mount the lever for a 69. I assumed it would be. It could probably be done though. The lower part of the mechanism for a 69 hinges on a bolt and nut that can be taken off easily. The 70 has a pin that would have to be cut out. I'm sure the conversion can be done but I also found a big crack in one of my frames so I ended up just getting 69 seats instead and being done with it.
  5. Looking for a 69 Mach 1 driver side seat. I have a passenger seat already but would consider buying both driver and passenger if unwilling to split a set.
  6. The driver side seat in my 69 Mach 1 is for a 70. The seat back release lever is down low next the the hinge. Is it possible to convert the 70 seat to a 69 by relocating the release lever up to the middle area of the seat back? I won't be home for another couple of months otherwise I'd take it apart and see for myself. I know I haven't seen parts for that release mechanism available....only the frames and tracks for the most part.
  7. I'm interested in the Mach 1 Seats (Original) if you still have them. Shipping to Florida....32409.
  8. I need a driver side seat but I'd have to have it shipped. Let me know if you'd consider shipping please.
  9. Looking for a 69 Mach 1 shaker hood. Would also consider non-Mach 69 hood to convert to shaker.
  10. Haha.....right on. Thanks for the info. I looked it up and that place is actually a little further south of Gainesville. I think it's west of Orlando but I'll keep him in mind.
  11. I'll check out Wiggins when I get home. I was hoping you might comment. My wife and I actually met you a couple of years ago at a show in Pensacola. I had known about your harness business at that point and happened to see your display at the show so we stopped and talked a little bit. I live across the bay fom you in Southport. I'm going to PM you about the helicopter deal if you don't mind.
  12. I live in Panama City, FL and I'm looking for a machine shop experienced with FE's. I have a 69 Mach 1 390 that will need to be rebuilt. Does anyone know of a shop in the Panhandle or even the north Florida area? Basically anything from Pensacola over to Jacksonville.
  13. I'm looking for a radiator for my 69 Mach 1, 390, 4 speed, with AC. Part number should be C8ZE-L or -L1.
  14. Hey Chuck. I just moved from Dothan down to PC....Southport actually.

  17. The shaker looks perfect. I have a candy red 69 Mach also. Mine is an s-code that will eventually be restored when I get done working overseas. This will be my first build and having read through this thread, I'm certainly excited to get mine going and inspired to take on some things that I didn't think I could. If nothing else I've realized to be patient, think things through, and to do things right or not at all. Very impressed with what you've done.
  18. I saw a post you did a while back saying you used a Blue Thunder intake on your CJ with shaker. Would you mind sending a couple of photos of it please? I have a 69 Mach 1 with a 390 and when I get to that point in the restoration I may consider adding a shaker. Stroking the 390 is in my plans and I'd like to get some ideas on what intake to go with. So far I've read that the Edelbrock Streetmaster, Holley Street Dominator and the Blue Thunder all have the carb placed pretty much in the stock location. I read that the Blue Thunder is just a bit taller so I'd like to see some photos if you don't mind.

    Thanks......Rusty

  21. Wow. That stuff looks great. I checked the 3M website and it looks like you can order free samples from them. They have hundreds of finishes available. I have an early build Mach 1 so I'll need the lighter Teak grain. Has anyone found matches for that?
