  1. I think I've see a pic, but sure post one up. Do you know the back spacing?
  2. I'm thinking about placing an order on some 17x8 and 17x9.5 PSE T/A 2 wheels, and putting 315x35x17 nitto tires out back But I would like to see pics of them on mustangs first! Any one running PSE wheels? Or VWW wheels in 17's Post pic, size , backspacing (offset), tire size and brand. Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the info, Cj's is on back order for OEM tooling But mustang unlimited is running a deal on One. Maybe I'll pick that up. Anyone have good or bad to say about mustang unlimited stuff?
  4. I need a hood for my 70, I've been looking around at all the hoods out there. Should I buy an OEM tooling hood? Does it make that big of a difference from a non OEM tooling hood? Who has bought hoods? From where? Did it fit well? Thanks for any info
  5. I understand they look kinda cheap and nothing like the stock mustang gauge cluster look, but I'm looking for The TA look, and I thought they look very close to that style.
  6. Has anyone on here used this gauge cluster? http://www.mpproductsstore.com/19mucu6gainb1.html I'm thinking about changing my stock gauges out. This set up Looks close to how the 69/70 TA boss gauges looked, and since I'm Building a TA theme street car, I thought this would go well With my build.
  7. I need to buy a new hood. How we'll does the dynacore fit?
  8. That's about where i want my car to sit. I would love to get it as low in the front as the Allen moffat boss, But I know that car has the pie ( wedge ) cut done by car craft that alters the appearance of how low it looks.
  9. Looking for pics and info on suspension set up on 69/70 out there that are sitting low!!!! And that are still running coils and leafs. I'm going with a street T/A theme in my 70, and I need to be as low as possible, thinking of running a Shelby drop with 620 up front (maybe cut .5-.75 of a coil) and mid eye leafs in back with 2 drop block. Any one running close to that set up?
  10. I'm going to go with shorties, just don't know what brand I'll use.
  11. Looking for the best quality and fitting Short headers for my 351w. My mustang is going low, and is a 4speed With ps. After looking at headers and talking to members on mustang forums, i've decided to go with either fpa headers or some type of short header. From what everyone says, fpa headers are the best option, but I think a short header would work out great with my set up. Any one run Sanderson short headers? http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Sanderson-FF6-Small-Block-Ford-Blockhugger-Header-Set.html
  12. So what's the best headers to run on my 351w with a 4 speed and ps. I would like to stay under $500
  13. I have a set of SB tri-ys I was going to use on my 68 with a 302, but I was thinking they may work on my 351.
  14. I know the cam isn't stock, but it's not anything crazy. I'm looking at headers, not sure about Long vs short? The car has ps, not sure if that will Interfere with long headers, Other then headers, Exhaust, carb, I'll leave it as is.
  15. Thanks for the info, I wasn't sure what the best carb size to go with, it's a close to stock 351w 4v heads, roller rockers, and I'm not sure what cam is in it. I'll post up some pics soon.
  16. I have a shaker on the car now. I want to run a holly on the 351w. But I was thinking about selling the set up and going with something Different. Just didn't know what there worth.
  17. I picked up a nice grabber orange 70 sportroof, it has a 69 351w and a top loader In it. The 351 has the stock 4v intake and autolite Carb, can I run a different carb or will it make the Shaker too tall? Do they make any aftermarket air cleaners for shaker Set up? What is a 351w full shaker set up worth? Carb, air cleaner, shaker and all hardwere.
  18. Haha!!!! Nice photo shop If no one buys it ill just put some 17 VWW Wheels on it.
  19. Here is my 1970 ford Mach 1 mustang 351c 4v with a c4 auto ps, pb, It's been my project for over a year, I have over $13k in just parts and body work ( $10k is parts, suspension, engine, interior exc...) 20. It's a pie shape cute done from the core support to the shock towers. Kar Kraft did it to the 1969 trans am mustangs ( team Shelby, bud Moore, smoky yunick, Allen moffat and probably a few more cars) There is a few people on boss302.com that have done it to build Vintage racing mustangs. It looks like a tough modification to do.
  21. Thanks The lugs are from cobra automotive. If I do the 70 boss stripes I'll set them low just like the bud Moore cars ran, The next project is to put my new springs on and get my 4 speed set up over winter, and then build the side exhaust. Each side will have two 3" exhaust pipes that exit under the back half of the doors.
