  1. Impossible, she's waxed bald I tell you, no stubble, you must of been in bed with the dog or something. That or you just told her it was a trimmer but the buzzing was really a dildo because you couldn't get it up as usual, well, except that one time you made her wear a beard and blacked out some teeth and called her Earl, it seemed to work for you then.:001_huh: And I"M LAZY???? Dude, your wifes got da piggy tails. How the hell did we get here from hood scoops?
  2. The shop manuals are invaluable and every hobby person should own a set, far superior to the typical haynes or chiltons type you find in your basic parts store. They really are only helpful to trouble shoot issues or how to repair something specific though. Are you looking more for a start to finish guide on how to go through and restore your entire car and the order in which to do it? Or just the repair manuals?

  4. Yes, I know she does, you just have to be careful around that mole. My wife is waxed clean though so that wouldn't apply if the problem was from her. I wasn't flossing with them, I was using floss to remove them from my teeth and then carelessly throwing them away. I always forget to speak broken english and lose the big words or draw a picture when talking to you, my bad.

  6. Wow is that yellow 66' nice! :tongue_smilie: J/K man. I really hate particpating in car shows, I just don't like being judged when I built the car to please me and me alone, there is no way to compete with a purist and even in the new modified classes the cars that are caught inbetween both worlds get eaten up just as bad by the super mods. I have found when I go to a show and leave my car in the parking alot I draw bigger crowds around it than I do in the show. I don't mind so much the show and shines or cruise ins where everyone is just looking for fun and maybe the crowds vote on their favorite but I'd still rather have the thumbs up of a stranger as I pass him on the street.

  8. Pussy Pubes? I didn't know you could use them for that? I usually just chuck them after flossing but maybe I should start collecting them instead.

  10. I got ya and I totally know the feeling. I envy guys like you and Coz that can spend the cash on stuff and then change your minds and set ups before it is even broken in yet. I had a generous budget to work with from the insurance and I still had to carefully plan out my build and commit to my choices once I invested in them. There are some things I would do but I have to live with them at least until everything else is completely done, then I can see if I have money left or start saving for the new stuff.

  12. It does suck and I do feel for you man but I could see where things went wrong on your second paragragh "Anxious to get it on the road and no time available to do the work myself right now". Any predator will pray on the weak, it's instinct at the animal level, humans should be above that but only a rare few are. They knew you were in a rush and breaking down on the way there was the scent of blood in the air. No doubt they are wrong for proceeding with unauthorized work prior to estimate approval, unfortunately now that the bill is paid the burden lies with you to prove it. If I was to be them for a second I would claim "why weren't we told to stop on week one or week two". Obviously if you knew ahead of time how much it would cost, somehow either you would have found the time or suddenly have not been so anxious. Even when you pay good money for a car they are 40 years old and this is a hobby first and foremost. Don't think for a second that the gremlins have stopped here and at least you will be able to enjoy it for a few years before the next time. Things can and will go wrong at any time and any where. Just curious but did you ever get the chance to look the car over in Florida before buying it or at least test drive it? Not that reading this link will make it better but it may take some of the sting away to know that folks have had it far worse than you: http://www.classicmustang.com/Stories/Skip%20Novakovich.html Like was said by others, if you learnt something from this mistake then not all the money was spent badly because it could have just saved you from making a mistake that costs 5 or 10 times more in the future. Best of luck and I hope you get some satisfaction out of this in the end, if you have a stronger will to fight than this guy does you should be able to get something back at least so both sides are happy.

  16. So what is the issue with the new coilovers that you hate the ride so much? I was looking to do these as a future mod some day and I thought you were happy with yours. BTW, soliciting opinions is only helpful when you haven't made up your mind already. LOL

  18. Just FYI, some manufactures will list it as the metric equivilent of 5X114mm but it's the same thing.

  20. Cool, good luck, can't wait to see it. So where did you decide to place the stripe then? I wasn't even thinking of the space above the stripe being solid whern I did opt. 1&2 for some reason.
