Never been to it yet, but guys at my work talk about the UPS show. They say its a very well put on show, plenty of cars from mild to wild and great burnouts after the show is over.

I would go to your local auto parts store, they usually sell an assortment of vacuum caps to plug unused vacuum ports. -
I doubt you will fit a 9" rim in the front, but I am not 100% sure. The 5.95 is closer to 5 61/64".

I think the speedometer connected to it. I had one in my car but the box was missing, I just removed it.

It all depends on your mechanical ability. Its pretty straight forward, have you ever done any work on the front end of your car? If it is a bolt in UBJ than you would have to remove the shock. Compress the spring and separate the UBJ from the spindle than unbolt the UBJ from the arm. Reassemble in the reverse order and torque to specs. If they are the rivited UBJ its basically the same but you have to remove the rivits which can be a royal pain.

Looks like you have a pretty good project in front of you. I also think your pretty brave if your working on that car on jack stands that are positioned on the bare ground. You should at least get some steel plates for the stands to set on if you plan on working on it where you have it.

Welcome, you might want to check out a company called Sanderson. They might have some shorty headers for the app you are looking for. Post some pics of your project when you get the chance.
