  6. Cheers you guys , glad you like what i am doing, To answer a few questions , The seat pan brace is the one thing that need modifying , I will fab a new one with extra bends to clear the exhaust x pipe . I did try it through the seat pan brace hole , but was hard up on the e-brake cable and hard up on the floor pan just before the rear boxes .Going under the brace was to low , So with the brace out, the system run where the brace was . Yes 2.5 " system The time these jobs take is a labour of love , The magnaflow system has been on & off 4 times to get it right , But i am there now , all fitted & welded . Even though its a bought system you have to fab headers to system joints, drill new s/s hangers for rear boxes , weld rear hangers to system , Then i have welded 3" slash cut s/s tips on , Did not like the turn down magnaflow ones . First start up this weekend !!!!

  10. Spot on SWPruett , Great stuff to use , Bends easy , Flares easy , Never rusts. Mike , I think the company back in the sixtys only converted 50 mustangs to RHD , This was done when the cars were new . My car was built for export DSO 90 on the 18th april 1969 ,shipped over to the uk , arrived August 69 ,spent a few months in a work shop being converted to RHD , Sold new in 1970 to a company in north England (COMPANY CAR )I think, Then i bought it in 1995 , The 14th owner and have been working on & off it ever since , It was very rough & had all the usual mustang rot & bad repairs , I have had highs & lows with the car but thats half the fun when you drive your hard work down the road !
  11. All wiring finished , everything works ! I hate wiring . Modified the looms for a clean look extending wires & reroute ,New windsheild fitted with the window weld ribbon , Fitted new steering wheel , I like the look of it , Its a grant . power top works , But need to fit the new black top . Fitted new front section of ebrake today , That was a crap job , Trying to feed the cable through 5 holes . Need to fit engine & box next .

  15. Few pics from this weeks work Been doing the engine bay wiring , :-<:-<:-< What i trying to do is keep as much of the loom out of sight as i can, Running the main engine bay loom under the engine, The wiper loom should come through the bulk head then through upper cowl to the wiper motor , that looks a mess so now that loom runs inside the car up through the lower cowl to the wiper motor . Cheers Kevin

  21. Glad to help , Take your time and do the job once & do it right , Its winter your car is of the road ? No rush then , You can weld you wing plates straight to the towers , that will help & the gusset inside tower to frame rail , To stop the cracks you need something in the engine bay side were the UCA bolts come through the tower . Good luck , Post pics for us . Cheers Kevin
