Are you talking about the Stainless roof rail channel that holds the underside weatherstrip in?

I have been a 3M man for years, but I find the Machine Polish is complete junk now compared to Wolfgang/Mezerna or Meguirs MP205. If you use the 3m Compound and step directly down to swirl the dropoff is to much. If the haze shows back up try the MP205 or Wolfgang Swirl remover. Cars looking great though.

Depending on direction on go with car, if I decide to salvage roof skin for my car instead of saving it will keep you in mind. I may have an extra set of those channels if you are talking about the stainless one that goes from front door post to rear of quarter window on underside of roof rail basically.

I just purchased two parts cars to get misc parts for my 69 S-code. Ones a running Grande 69 and others a rolling 69 fastback that I planned to take date correct glass and roof for my other project. After checking numbers on car it's a 69 Mach 1 351 4bbl(M-code). My question is would it be a waste to ruin this car for parts, paid almost nothing for both city was making him clean up property.

Looking Good

Cars looking good. Question for you what type of pads/brushes you using to strip paint/rust. Just a wire brush or a 3m flap disc? Always looking to try something new.
-
Do you need the whole cut out?

Purchased those recently from Kentucky Mustang. Did not realize for that one little section roof skin needs to be removed.

Just baught a 69 Goodmark floor pan good quality metal, fit not bad. Believe it's the exact same floor pan Dynacorn makes at same taiwan plant. Difference Goodmark is free shipping if you order through a local keystone parts, but doesn't come with seat risers while the Dynacorn 69-70 floor comes with seat risers but have to pay freight. Overall they both stink if you are looking for an original look. Had to cut out the front ribbings and make patches with correct ribbings going past outer seat bolt holes.

Would never order anything large from CJponyparts again horrible customer service, never able to get anything sorted out. Could have easily just put a claim in with paypal to force issue but did not. I gave them a chance and will be going back to Kentucky Mustang prices are about the same, fast shipping and if you call them up will match the fake good deal CJpony shows with shipping. Rather pay 9.95 for shipping and get part within a few days then have crap always backordered.

I just purchased a Goodmark repro and it's solid weight wise. Have not aligned gap yet. Best part was it showed up dented lightly and they knocked off $125.

Have you purchased doors, fenders, quarters from Cjponyparts for a 69 or 70 mustang? because they definately are not even close to ford tooling. The no-name doors, quarters and fenders all have horrible gaps, needing 1/8 rod to be welded/shaped all over. Goodmark/Dynacorn fenders fit alot better but still bad fitment.

Had the hammer in my hand ready to beat it up a few times when I installed my passenger side quarter panel. What place did you buy the quarters from?

Glad to hear that reviews work, don't like the manual review feature because of allowing certain ones to be posted.

Anybody ever try to leave a review of a part they purchased to help others not purchase it in future? They almost seem like fake reviews I purchased a bunch of parts from them for my 69, some parts were great but the door shells were complete garbage and felt people in future should know so tried to leave review to warn others to stick with a higher grade door shell like dynacorn/goodmark. Almost like they were 2nd's/3rd's. In the end I ended up cutting the lower rear section out of them to rebuild my old ones and ordered dynacorn door skins. Definately learned to stick with what works on past projects and stay with vendors that sell better products.

I need a set of door hinges for a 1969 Mustang, purchased the dynacorn ones but would like some originals that I can rebuild.
-
Thanks that should come in handy sorting out other parts.

Took a little bit but found one on ebay from a 72 or 73 351 4V air cleaner. Looks identical with same door and angle bracket to mount onto air cleaner.

Found it but missing vacuum valve.............. might be hard to find.
