  1. Mine was doing this before and it was a bad ground. If the solenoid sparks when you jump it but doesnt fire the starter then it is most likely a ground, voltage, or starter. You are saying the voltage is good so check the others.
  2. How are you dying it to not get overspray on anything else
  3. i installed the clock bezel after which I realized at the time was wrong. I just finished because I am assuming something is wrong and I wil have to get behind there again anyway for wirirng possibly this is basically a first mockup on the install. I only located two bolts for the lower dash just below the dash by each door. Is there more bolts then jsut the two and if so where. I could not get it to budge with unbolting the two and loosening the dash screws.
  4. I will try to adjust the lower dash up I did not know it was adjustable. here are some pictures
  5. So long story but here it is. I just purchased a 69 coupe that was completely torn down to a rolling chassis. The previous owner had purchased a new dash pad sometime over the last 5 years and let it sit. I purchased a new gauge bezel and have a factory passengers dash section. After installing the gauge bezel I started on the dash pad. I got it all in and bolted up but there is a small gap between the gauge bezel and the dash pad along the top edge. I tried prying, pushing, pulling, etc but cant seem to close the gap. There was the same issue on the passengers side panel where the clock is. Is this the dash pad being old and tweaked from sitting wrong on is it just reproduction parts? Any ideas. It is not noticeable from outside or with a quick look inside but if your sitting in it driving it is annoying.
  6. Are you looking for the rear fender extension for the passengers side? http://www.cjponyparts.com/quarter-panel-extension-coupe-1969/p/QPE10L/ If so I have them and am located in York, PA I will take offers on the pair of individually.
  7. I have a 69 coupe that I am in the process of restoring for my wife. It was an original red on black 351. She wants to go with red but not sure which. She is looking for a deep red like blood or a candy. She is also thinking of a ghost flame licking back from the front. I am not so sure how it will look and cant seem to find any pictures of them like this anywhere. Is this something you may be able to put together. http://forums.finalgear.com/post-your-car/1969-mustang-coupe-25385/ This is not the car but the 9th and 10th pictures would get a good look at the flame.
  8. I have a brand new set of front and rear fiberglass bumpers that came with the 69 I just purchased. I am going with new chrome bumpers so I am looking to sell them. I am asking 60.00 each or 100.00 for the pair. I also have chrome front and rear bumpers the front needs re chromed the back was sanded down and primered. Im asking 40 for them as a pair and will entertain offers to seperate.
