  1. Okay, reprimand accepted. I'd just rather get my information from the Mustang forums... it's much more personal and first hand than Google articles. Thanks for the order, camber, caster, toe. I'm using Daze's specs by the way...
  2. So, does anyone know the order of the process? Toe, caster, camber?
  3. Well, that's my thought. I live remotely in Vermont and I've only found one shop that 'maybe' has a guy who worked on the 'old stuff'. I figure there's a good chance that the alignment may be off by the time I get home even if it's done right. The roads here are terrible. My car hasn't been on the road since about '75 and I bought it disassembled. I have installed all the original style suspension and I know it's pretty close. I figure by the time I rent a trailer and pay the alignment fee, I would be half way to paying for my own system!
  4. Good idea...hadn't heard that one.
  5. I'm considering purchasing my own front end alignment system. There are several manufacturers out there...what are you guys (or gals) using? Looking for feedback and/or recommendations.
  6. I used screws in one or two of mine as well. Pretty sure you need a spot welder of some sort to replace the studs...screws were easy and worked fine.
  7. Okay, thanks. Maybe that is why they are the only parts supplier I could find that has them in stock...
  8. But which ones did you order? The ones pictured above that they list for a 1970 only? I'm not sure if the picture is wrong or the description. 1970 is the short style cup and the brackets are different...
  9. So, I'm in need of a set of deluxe door pull brackets for an early '69 (see picture) MU and CJ's don't have them in stock and seem unsure of availability when I called. NPD has them (I think) but they show them as 1970 brackets (late style) so I'm not sure which ones I would get if I ordered. I think I could easily make these if someone had one sitting on a bench that they could measure for me...anyone?
  10. No, it just slid right on at a bit of an angle. Worked excellent!
  11. I also used the Right Stuff on the front and rear of my intake manifold...worked great. When installing the intake, I used about 3-4 inches of threaded rod on the front and rear on one side. After putting the gaskets in place and applying the sealer on the ends of the block, the threaded rods help guide the heavy intake down to the exact spot it needs to be when lowering it in place. After it's in place, unscrew the threaded rods and install the bolts.
  12. I'm trying to send a message to you (Barnett468) as well! Tim
  13. I figured it out. Swapped the left and the right side for both the inner and outer and everything is fine. Must have mis-marked them when I disassembled! Thanks.
