Well I've seen the Microsoft car where they grafted a 1967 body onto a new Mustang.  But this is different, here they made a 2007 look like a 1969.  I think they did a decent job.  I bet that work cost a small fortune
 

Look like the put some effort into the car and are having plenty of fun.
 

So this Russian kid who now lives in Germany loves American muscle.  So he decided to go to Texas and buy a 69 Mustang, then drive it around country to see America.  His eventual plan is to ship the car back to Germany and restore it.  Pretty cool.  I wonder if I can fly to Frankfurt and buy an E30 to drive around Europe for a month.

I thought this was a fun build.  I like the paint but think I'd personally swap the wheels out.  The one thing I'm trying to wrap my head around is the math.  They said they spent 40k on the car and parts (seems low) and 310 hours on the build.  It sold for 56.5k.  Now if you were paying straight rates at shop that is at least 20k in man hours probably closer to 25k.  Even if you own the business and pay 1/2 that, it doesn't seem like a lot of profit.  But most the time was volunteer time I think.  Not that I'm knocking them building the car I just always have a laugh at the prices and profits they show on reality shows.

Here's a pic of mine.  I picked the shroud and fans up at a junkyard for $35.  I used angle aluminum from the hardware store to make a bracket for mounting (cutting the tabs off the shroud), some people use the mounting tabs on the shroud and drill new mounting holes.  It covers 98% of the radiator and really improved my low speed temperature control.  I'm using a Delta Fan controller which took about 6 weeks to get, but you could just use a relay.

So I came across this and had to pass it along. I've seen photos of this car before, but not video. I have to say it is pretty wild.
 

I have a NAPA branded 'Professional' series I bought over 20 years ago.  Part number 520-1007.  5.5 inches lowered to ~19.5 inches fully extended.  2 1/4 Ton.  After all this time it works like it did out of the box.  It is a bit heavy though.  The swivel casters make it easy enough to drag around, just don't pick it up to often.

More than the Harbor Freight ones, but like I said it's old enough to drink now and still works like new.  I think I bought it in a kit with the stands at the time.  I think each stand is rated at 1-ton.

Christmas was good to me this year. Not with parts but with tools. Garage heater and electric impact driver / electric hammer.

I bought this mid summer after getting a hole in my previous radiator.  I'm upgrading to an aluminum radiator as the 347 I'm running needs just a little more help.   This has only 4-500 miles on it.
