  1. the front right blinker works fine with the parking light off but if i turn parking light on and engage the blinker the filament that blinks barely gets brighter and def doesnt work like the left one,and yes tried diff bulbs.....anybody had this problem?
  2. thankls for everyone who commented on this post,i have fixed the problem as it was the wrong shift lever arm, luckily i had a spare c4 with the right arm and it is now shifting better than ever! again thanks for everyones help
  3. also will the correct shift lever shaft fit in a 75 model c4 if the shaft i need is from a 60s year c4?
  4. thanks Rcodenewf for your time in helping me with this,my car def has wrong arm :(
  5. Rcodenewf,i just measured the arm on my car center to center and it appears to be 1 7/8 so you were correct on the length,so im guessing i need longer arm,and can you check your arm when in 1st gear is it almost touching the front neutral safety bolt?
  6. and your saying center to center on the arm on mine is 1 7/8,i just searched and found a site saying its 2 7/8,3-11/64" FD-C4F-7A-002H-AF Price Picture not available D5OP-AA Neutral switch slots Hole = 7/16" 2-7/8" centers Bent out 1/2" Oval logo Diamond G No notches
  7. Thanks Protowrxs and Rcodenewf,Rcodenewf when you say center to center your talking about center where shift rod mounts to center of shaft?
  8. no the arm and rod are one piece,no turning just arm,and yes the trans is a 1975
  9. the shaft doesnt have teeth to adjust ,its just notched and can be turned 2 ways-up,down,the rod seems to long and im not sure what trans came out of put its a 1975 trans just not sure what from number on trans is d50p-7006-aa
  10. i dont see why i should make a custom one when i have the correct one for car, even tho somethings not working right id rather look at other options then making a custom rod only to find it wont match the shifter detents either ,only other thing ive looked up and found is the detents in the trans dont match the detents on the shift selector
  11. this pic is trans in 1st[/img] this is trans in park [/img]
  12. Yes the arm and shaft are one solid piece I do know that from my searchs, I'm literally running out of ideas on what problem it
  13. im not familiar with the internals so im not sure if its splined or not, maybe some with more knowledge of trans will chime in.....
  14. according to my google searches i have the correct linkage C9ZA-7326-D[/img]
