Whats interesting for me is , I have worked and installed commercial steam boilers and have done complete boiler rooms , hugh boiler rooms like millions of btu type steam boilers. It's pc of cake for me but I have also heard the comments wow who know how to do this kind of stuff. So it just goes to show we all have talents . Yes I am a great Mechanic but looking at the kind of frame and body work many of you do , I Would never attempt.

Yea turn it all the way in , cut it off and then take the rest out

Gez , I see you guys doing this stuff and I think wow they have a lot of courage ! I would never attempt anything like what you are doing

The door panels should have the hole cut out for everything including the driver side mirror remote bezel set up. I have never seen any 69 Mach 1 with a 90 degree set up for the remote mirror. Where did you see that ? By the way , if you haven't ordered your panels yet , check out this outfit. Mustang Market . They have complete sets and they look real nice. Thye are also Ford licensed there add is www.mustangmarket@aol.com

fender nut in rocker panel question
mymachone replied to amochoru's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Poor design is not the word for this set up , but I just read an article on this very thing in auto restorer mag , not how to install them but how to not break one off when removing the fender . Which is exactly what i did the other day , my fender was loose there and I tryed to tighten the bolt andf sure enough it broke off , not more unexpected work . -
