Yes, all new. It's just up the road a few miles, outside the city limits. Pretty close to swapping the building's square feet for house square feet. Existing house 2800 sf., 1500 sf. building. Going to build a 1500+ sf. house and a 2400 sf. metal building. (40 x 60). No subdivision, no city taxes, lots and lots of grass, much better.

I've been busy trying to fill in the Covid salary deficit over the past month with several extra jobs. Recently fixing some vintage FJ fenders that were quite crunchy. Lots of work, but helps pay the bills.

When I'm not working, I'm working on our next large project...

... downsizing the house and upsizing the shop. No more raking leaves in the fall, YEAAAAA!!!

Yes! And, if you scroll down just a littler further in that passage,  you'll find this:  “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal."
This Mustang of mine is very dear to me and sometimes I wonder about that. It was my first car, my father helped me acquire it and I have good memories with it. I turned 60 at the beginning of this year and I've not driven it since 1983. It was weird turning 60, no other birthday has bothered me as much as this one. Knowing that most of my life was over with and wondering how much I have left and thinking about what I have and have not done. Lots of thoughts.  One of those thoughts was would I ever drive the Mustang again. Would I finish it before I pass this life. I think about those thoughts and the above scripture and think that perhaps I put too much into something that I will leave behind one day. I saw this the other day while I was feeling sorry for myself, "life is not about what we consume, but what we give away". Thanks for giving, Rich!

@sixt9stang  I thnk that the issue is you have your rockers level. The diagram does not show rockers so may be the rockers are not level on that diagram. Try to level the car to 11 3/16 dimension at the aft end of frame rail, and X-6 dimension under front frame rail and see what A and B comes out to.

Been messing with the passenger side fender the past couple of days. I took a little more time getting the surface fairly flat but still have minor issues around the welds. Getting all the shrinking out of 20ga and not cutting through the part is difficult. Maybe with a little more practice I might get the hang of this metal working stuff.

Patch is all ready to tack in place. There is some tape on the back holding it up.

The general fit, tack, beat, repeat until it is all fully welded. A little sanding and its ready for more beating. Sanding the inside is helpful to get a smooth finish.

Between filing off the proud weld, more beating and a ton of planishing it looks presentable. Once again, I left some of the minor imperfections that will only require some putty to get ready for primer. There are a couple of places I'm going to take care of while I'm at it, then it"s on to the passenger side fender.

Looks like you got some good pictures with dimensions. The pictures latoracing posted looks like they are for a vert as it has additional inner rocker used on verts (or may be coupe or fastback he added the vert inner rockers).  Use the dimensions from Casgar's pictures. On latoracing's first picture, you can see the 2 holes close to the frame rail on the torque box; inner hole (round one) is for fuel line,  outher hole (D shaped) for parking brake cable (with a channel for the cable).

It's not complete yet. I'm building the quarter extensions out of sheet metal and re-shaping everything to fit together. My car is back on the rotisserie and another convertible is going on the chassis table for a bunch of metal parts. I'll get back to mine sometime.

Theres always the "cut and fit" option for a steel bumper.
