  1. album: http://imageshack.us/g/855/97489555.jpg/ ill look at my water pump area as well.. ill look at exactly which IM i have and see if i could get another one..better one..
  2. Ok, so after getting new gauges, Temp,Oil PSI,Voltmenter, i decided i wanted to try and use the Temp gauge, WITH my stock gauge that is Working.. The stock gauge TSU is front of manifold, driverside, works great, just isnt detailed, just says "TEMP" on the stock gauge, and points to "E", which is fine, runs cool. no issues.. The aftermarket gauge would show actual numbers... i would like to install that as well, but i thought there were atleast 2 areas to hook up the TSU...cant seem to find one.. Question: Does anyone have ideas or know where they hooked up a 2nd TSU for a different gauge. 302 2v v8 "F" code thanks.
  3. ive been looking for mine, and found a few... simple plug in play or some wiring needed Tail light AND rapid brake: http://bad-mab.com/mustang.htm tail light seq only: http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=572/category_id=343/home_id=59/mode=prod/prd572.htm seq. taillights http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=CA28+01
  4. dangit' Is there another spot i could plug in a secondary coolant temp sensor? ...i thought there were 2... the stock sensor is being used (front near driver side) im going to move this to a new thread.
  5. So the STOCK in-dash gauge for the original water gauge reads fine, it says TEMP, with the needle idling/running at or right on the "E" of the word TEMP. it runs fine no Issues... THAT sensor is tapped into the intake manifold, the FRONT on the drivers side. I bought a new gauge cluster, OIL PSI,TEMP,VOLTMETER, the old one ..well it wasnt hooked up right..he left the project in the middle..who knows... i was looking around the engine some more...and saw the other hole with a hex nut in it, back of engine on drivers side..i thought thats a good location for the Aftermarket gauge for the temp heres my question: having 2 temp sensors, shouldn't affect anything...im sure of that.. but...wont ONE read hotter/cooler then the other... then..which one would be more accurate, the one in the Back of the IM or the Front of the IM ive included a pic of the one in the back. http://imageshack.us/f/845/img20111224170504.jpg/
  6. thanks... This is All Original, matching numbers NO rust....and my friendship is the same. this is the GRANDE version, i like the trunk space, unlike my 96 i had, small tiny trunk... Its PRIMER right now, im driving it as of month ago...she runs great, no issues at all, the right muffler actually fell off, rust got to it, so now it sounds 10x louder then before, it was loud but muffled, but now...just @ 800rpm idle, its loud, just sitting at the traffic light and everyone is looking..oh well, no issues from the cops..yet but..does anyone know what this sender unit was originally used for? its dried...no residue.....i was thinking of trying and installing a aftermarket water temp gauge there, the in-dash gauge works, but i want to see actual numbers and not the Words "TEMP" and its at the "E" all the time ....i just want to ask before i do something foolish...doesnt look like a water SU... i remember seeing one before... http://imageshack.us/f/263/sam0933g.jpg/ and my dataplate info: http://imageshack.us/f/163/dataplate1969302.jpg/
  7. Performance shops that provide body work, installation from wiring to axle/enignes..etc Where or Who are they in Georgia? or surrounding states I live in Alpharetta,GA, and going to get some new suspension, and some other parts and probably have them install some new gauges while its there.
  8. i couldnt see any freezeplugs, but its not on a lift right now. The guy before my friend said he bored it outs so maybe .40 or something after i get the correct parts for it, seals and lube it up and stuff ill take it to a dyno and test it. thanks for help and what to look for...you hit the nail on the head how the non ford guy thought of what it was....but he helps out alot so i didnt argue. ill post the dyno results when i get everything done
  9. yes, the vins do match...all 3, Door data plate, Windshield(though its not bolted down, no worry) and engine bay panel heres a Album of it... its 6months old...i just resanded it and wetsanded it down with a fresh coat of primer... http://imageshack.us/g/855/97489555.jpg/
  10. ive had a 96 cobra,94, even a 89 5.0 for a short while.. im not an expert on these, just what friends/family tell me. as im learning more. Now, its a 69 grande...bored boss 302, from a trusted long time friend. that was pretty much all done, except for some fresh paint and new interior. traded one of my 88 silverados for it...sounds and runs great. 4months later after the interior was replaced and new tach and radio and im starting to get parts to help stop leaks...tighten up bolts and other stuff.. but recently i had my friend put it on a lift so i could drain oil and replace the filter, he noticed the Output shaft seal was bad and needed replaced. i thought it would be normal, find,order,relpace.. but it wasnt. i looked on the vin, it states engine code "F" (210-v8) and not G for 290-boss302 friends say its a boss302...it feels like a 290/300hp car. so that leads me to believe the Vin Plate is false. its correct on the type, which is hardtop (grande) i was trying to get the correct output shaft seal, when i started looking into this. Though my friends are good with cars, they arent classic mustang experts. the person before my friend had it, was restoring it, so he probably modded it..changed it..etc Is there a Hidden VIN# plate somewhere, so far its just the inside of the engine bay on the side. I want to learn and see exactly what this is...i dont have access to my friends lift all the time. but maybe if anyone can point out any other places the VIN can be...or how to tell what the tranny is exactly and anything else. thanks for any info you leave.
