I got a quote in Toronto for headers back with Magnaflow mufflers and x-pipe for $1300

Nice to see your car with the straight 6 still in it, good choice.:yes:Yeah 'bout that, I was going to keep the six but it started throwing up oil and I blew the exhaust manifold off of it so, I'm putting a roller cam 302 in it. :whistling:
I actually just picked up the carb for it today.

Rebuilt my rear drum brakes. Man am I glad that my uncle told me to fish out all the rusty old crap that I'd tossed out of the trash or I would have been screwed. Thank god for bench grinders and wire wheels. Its amazing what a complete rebuild kit doesn't come with!

You can actually just cut a bit off your existing break peddle and then buy a new rubber cover and trim ring. Other than the clutch cable and Z-bar I think you would be good. I'm also assuming that you have the shifter, boot and trim ring from the other car.

Bought an AOD out of an 87 mustang on Saturday, placed an order for new valve springs, valve stem seals, heavy duty water pump, high volume oil pump and then made the mistake of breaking out Excel to figure out what it's going to cost to get it back on the road this summer, :pinch:

Decided what the hell and tore down the bottom end of my engine today so now the block is bare.
-
Tore down the top end of my engine. Getting ready to re-do all the gaskets and seals. Considering a light porting of my E5 heads.
-
Pulled engine and tranny
-
Engine was running when pulled. However it could use a once over as oil was coming back into the air cleaner. Also the exhaust manifold is cracked and some of the bolts have broken in the block. Engine does not include carb or distributor. But can be included for additional cost.
$150 OBO
Located in Toronto Ontario, have pictures if interested.

Nice, is that Torino shaker? Looks like the nose is pointed. I like it.
-
Probably because I did it wrong. That was the first PM I've tried to send. Trying again.

Very interested in the chrome mirror. Sent PM with email address.
Thanks

Thus link worked for me. Fair warning I'm on a Mac and only had to worry about the insane pop-ups but none of the malware.http://www.vidxden.com/e1129reo2rjl

If you guys really want to watch it you can find it on "pirate" sites the stream TV shows. it takes a little digging but I found one. The episode was alright but putting BOSS stripes on a car with what I think was a 2 barrel 302 seemed a bit much to me.

Got in the car today and and noticed my gauges were dead. But as I had to get my ass to work I kept on going, then about 10 min into the drive there was life!
WTF, any ideas?
Thanks.

He's getting good with the photoshop.
But I'm not sure if the car is on fire because of how fast he thinks it's going be, or because he knows I'm the one working on it.

Beautiful car, great work, and another member from Ontario!

I'm about to order a set of Ridler 675's! Nice rims by the way.

I had a huge list for my car. Doing the 200CI to 302 HO conversion and I found a bunch of great deals on stuff. Lightly used long tube Tri-Y's for $90, Boss oil pan and pick-up $50, rebuilt UCA's for $40... and the list went on. My Flex was full when I left. If I didn't stop when I did I would have had to leave one of my kids behind to make room.
And thanks Machattack for the link I'll be sure to catch it.

A belated congratulations to you!

Hey guys I have a fresh 86 HO roller cam just about ready to drop in and my question is, I can get an MSD distributor, and Digital 6 box for about $300, is it worth it over stock components?
Thanks for the input.
