After looking at it some more I think that if I go this route I might buy the 69 Boss 302 stripes and just use the top half of the stripe and put it at the bottom of the door. Ed

let us know what you learn. If the old one looks like it needs replacement can you post a picture of the ball joint movement at the end of travel that you described?

Have you thought about these roller idler arms? http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/idlerarm/ They are $80-95 with a roller bearing instead of the rubber bushing.

ok, so they were masked differently for painting the black, or the Dearborn car was painted black after assembly and the Meutchen was painted before, right? What if it is not the original paint? -
