  1. I would be very interested to hear the results of the head upgrade. I am running a very simular set up to what you have with pro comp heads and eagle H beam rods and a cast crank. Always wanted to know the gains with a set of AFR 205s.
  2. I think the 69 Calypso Coral #3 color is the coolest. It's different than the 70 Calypso shade all together. I believe it was also referred to as school bus yellow by PJones. Would love to have a Calypso Coral 69 Boss 429 and a Plum Crazy 70 Hemi Cuda, both with white interiors.
  3. Try Accufab, there custom built and are available in 1 3/4 for about 600.00.
  4. There is a company in Chicago who makes a very nice 24" rad for 199.00. The rads are a little thicker than stock and have two rows of 1 inch tubes that will out cool most four tube rads. The rad bolted in place with no problems and when painted black it looks darn good. Check engineered-products on ebay. I live in Vancouver so I have no ties with this company other to recommend a good made in the USA product which I would easliy compare to a Be Cool rad for a lot less money. I believe all Be Cool rads are 2 row as well.

  6. Thanks, any help is appreciated.
  7. Hi, I have a new 408 in my Mach 1 and I am having problems finding a temp sending unit that will register the correct temp on my gauge. I have tried two new sending units and they both read at the top of the gauge (hot). I was thinking of replacing the gauge but was told this is a common problem with the sending units that are available today. The car does not run hot but I hate driving a car with no temp gauge.
  8. Thanks to all. Great pictures, could you tell me if your shaker is a repo and if so which one? Seems like there are two choices, one being a 1/2 inch shorter for big blocks and one for 351's. I wish I could post pictures but being old (my first car was a 69 Road Runner) my camera takes film and most mail I send has a stamp on it.
  9. Like most new guys I have been hanging around a few months going through the archives and following the day by day posts. Thought it was time to offically say hello, not that I have much to offer compared to many members on this board. I have a 69 Mach 1, H code which is now a 408 with a factory 4 speed and air. The car is calypso coral. I would like to add shaker and like to know if it will fit either a performer RPM or Vic jr intake? Thanks, I have already enjoyed this site and look forward to hanging around.
  10. Sorry it was a little late when I posted, it's woodradios.com.
  11. Hello, I'm new to this forum and I hope this may help. I just had my stock am radio converted to am/fm with an aux imput by woodsradio.com. It works great and may be worth your while to check it out. Also would like to say thanks for all the great info I have read in the archives.
