What is crazy is, in the area where we live, to PURCHASE a pre-exsisting home for what we are building for - we would have gotten a 1970s two story house, out dated, needing work, and not where we wanted to be. They are thinking the end of november we will be in the house....we'll see!

three car garage plumbing is going in today, HVAC plumbing next week, electrical and draywall in the next two weeks... is it sad that I still think about the Mach even though its in storage??

1. Dont go to a collision shop. find the guy who is a one or two man opperation that has the 'passion' for older cars 2. plan on dropping 8-10 for a good job on doing the exterior top panels, no floors, etc.

Basement is in... Me, my dad and my son

great question - given my budget, a TKO is not in the budget, and a t5 will break even behind a stock 351w when i abuse it. The 4spds are cheap, plentiful, and strong. The car already has 3.00 grears. I also would like to see/feel that old school feel. Eventually when the funds are in line i could upgrade though.

update: I have owned the car for two years now...and it is currently in storage during the house construction, which started today: i have been collecting parts and trying to scrounge up a 4 spd though

i'd be furious - glad you are okay though... With you doing so much racing, any thoughts of one of those tubular fronts? Where its from the fire wall forward? -
looks like a good time!

Well the car is in storage now - It wont be out until the end of October.... in the mean time, I'll source some parts. A little retail therapy. haha

One thing I notice on forums is that everyone thinks you HAVE to paint the car before you can install the suspension, or even the drive train. It is so easy to nick up the fresh paint while you are working on the car. I personally am going to get the car to move under its own power before i paint. Just because i have seen what happens...It all depends on your budget and goals though. -
the full quarters? If you cut it at the top body line you should be okay. Anything after that is different

no rotisserie, i laid on my back to do it all. For painting, Devilbliss makes a product called D-Kups. I used those to paint upside down with and it came out great. It would have been VERY NICE to have on a rotisserie, but i just did not have the garage space.

looks like a good time! Electric angle grinder was one of the best purchases i made for my resto. The flap wheels are awesome on it.
