  1. Very Nice. I remember the first move on its own. A little forward, a little back. A little more forward and little back.
  2. The rear valance is there. The screws mount lower then this and do not screw into the trunk. Had to go look to make sure :whistling:
  3. Found about 4 small 1/8in or so holes along the rear of the trunk in my 70 coupe. Looking from outside they are behind the bumper. Inside they are along where the tail lights wireing runs. My first thought was clips for the wireing, but all are empty. I would have thought one clip might have survived. So what are they for????
  4. THis looks lke it would work. THis assumes your throtel cable is long enough to reach the connection. I see slack in your cable so you might be OK. But check your peddel position and cable leingth befor you spend the $$. I liked the kit from local Auto parts so I could hands befor I purchased and returned if it did not fit.
  5. I'm getting down to the wire :) The brackets I have for my 70 with a 302 do not align the same as on my 69. I could use some pics of the mounting brackets and instalation in a 70 coupe with a 302, non-AC. Thanks
  6. Here is how I'm set on my two Mustangs. First is a 302 with a Holley 600. I'm showing you this as it is using the stock cable. Second is a 302 with an Edelbrock 600 with a replaceme t set-up Hope these help you. Any questions let me know. This is showing whole setup. Note the non connected kickdown linkage. This is for the automatic kick-down and not necessary, but the extension is avaiable through Summit Racing. Here is a closeup of the ball connection. I got this in a Holley connection acessory kit from local auto parts for $20. Only needed the ball, but had to buy the entire package. Here is the Edelbrock linkage. For this one I replaced the entire throtle cable with a kit from O'reillys for abot $25. It came with everthing except the new bracket which was about $20. As my original cable was bad this worked great. Here is a closeup from the front. A shot from above
  7. Dave, Hard for me to tell, but have you swaped from a 2brl to a 4brl? At very least you need the ball to connect the cable to the carb. At most you need a new cable mount, ball and springs. I converted my 2brl to an Edelbrock 4brl. I will get you some pics tonight when I get home. I got everything from Oreilly Auto.
  8. +1 Installed the same one. Worked great
  9. I kinda like it. Of course I lived, for several years, in a bedroom my Wife painted Pink:001_huh:
  10. Due to medical bills I must sell the 70 Coupe I've been working on  I was almost ready to start the engine for the first time. It is that close to being on the road. The Good - I removed everything from windshield fwrd. Anything with issues I replaced. I de-rusted everything I touched then primed and painted. Lowere engine bay and wheel wells have black undercoating. Front and rear seats redone New headliner Shocks Entire front suspension including new springs Entire power steering replaced except for PS Pump all new front break assemblies new rear break cylinders U joints All clutch linkage bushing etc Alt Dist = HEI style Carb = Edelbrock 600 w/elect choke Drivers Door still in box Complete weatherstriping still in packages 302 rebuilt - Hi Flow heads(ported polished, double sprinfs, oversized valves) roller rockers, Slightly stronger than stock cam, oil pump, water pump harmonic ballencer, high rise air gap dual plabe intake, chrome valve covers, 3 speed toploader w/new clutch aluminum radiator w/elect fan and controller new battery Plugs and wires Tires have approx 1,500 miles on them. Needs; Front bodywork put back on car Minor hail damage final assemblie on engine compartment front end alignment Remove surface rust from Passenger fender. Drivers has been done. Install parts into new drivers door. Here is a link to some pics. There are before and afters. The car is located in Carlsbad NM. No you do not need a pasport to get here  This car is SOO CLOSE it hurts. I was putting it together as my daily driver, but my Son needs at least one surgery possibly two due to an accident.

  12. I've found conflicing stories, so not sure on if this is the correct year or not. Pulled from a on-line search In 1969, the first intermittent wipers were introduced with an adjustable delay between wipes, making it possible to select the degree of wiping action required. Robert Kearns is the recognized inventor of this system although it took years of effort and legal action before he was compensated.
