I had this issue. None of my gauges would work, kept thinking there was a bad wire somewhere. I had a new circut board, all the lights worked, turn signals and all. I replaced the clear lenses over the gauges because mine were all scatched up. I had power at the plug, but as soon as I plugged it into the insturment cluster it went to ground. Weeks went by before a friend of mine found the problem, (after smoking a $85 circut board), one of the posts on one of the gauges was grounding to the gauge housing. Once we reset the position of the gauges making sure the posts were not touching the housing, all the gauges worked. son of a bit--!!! I just couldn't believe that, that was killing all of the gauges.
