  1. Pale Rider, your right on, I don't have any thing to glue a new piece of glass to. Any Ideas? Maybe a swap meet, to find a complete mirror to get the guts, or do I have to go with a new complete to get the parts
  2. Thanks for the comments, anybody know where the best place to get a set of pedals and assemblies for clutch fork, at?
  3. I,m thinking about changing to a toploader from a FMX. I have the tranny with shifter assembly, bell housing, pressure plate. Other then the clutch and brake pedals and arms, what else would be required? driveshaft? Another question, is, this is a all original restored Mach, but it's not a numbers match car with the original block that came from the factory, but it is the original sizes on the VIN. If I change , will that increase or decrease the value?:scared:
  4. Thanks for the help, but I'm still a little unsure what I would glue a new peice of glass to, the glass part is totally gone and I can see that there was a scxrew hole in the assembly that made me believe that there could be a replacement that could be installed through the base, if I took it off the car door. Anybody looked that far?
  5. Does anyone know if is possible to replace the glass in a HP style rear view mirror on my passenger side door, of my 69 mach. If so where can I get the glass?:helpsmilie:
  6. Okay, I think I have the weatherstrip in the SS trim, figured out, with all the help, but still onclear how the SS trim stays on the edge of the glass, other then the 1 screw at the bottom?
  7. I have good glass in both doors of my mach1, but need to find and install, new metal edge and weatherstrip at the back of the glass, that seals to the small back window. Does anyone have any help on the installation procedure and a location to purchase the parts?:helpsmilie:
  8. I have the stock, chrome style steel wheels on my mach1 and would like to confirm what you are saying. The best combination for my stock wheels and suspension would be 215 70 R14 at all 4 corners?
  9. Greetings all, I am new to the site, and would like to confirm, that 215R70-14, will fit a chrome style steel wheel, stock on the 69 mach1, with stock supension, or would be the best look, be 215 on the front and 225 on the back, with no issues?
