  1. im also in need on patch panels for the fenders. I found in the catalog that they have patches for 65-66 & 67-68 but not 69. Could I use part of the panels for my application, attached is a photo of what I need to fix.

  3. yea u can by an entire new skin for around 100 but I just need patches for the bottom corners of the doors. Ive seen patch panels like this for the 65-67 but not for our 69's.
  4. Ive been looking around a couple of the well known Mustang vendors for patch panels but im not really finding anything for 69's. Anyone know where these can be found or even if they exist?
  5. Ill be starting the process of removing all the paint off my 302 and I was wondering what the best process is to get it to where when I repaint it'll have the nicest paint quality. Dremel? Sanding? Acetone? What do you recommend?

  7. definently a DIYselfer, ive stripped the car down to just the body, entire drivetrains out of the car. Removed rusted floor pan and had my friend weld in a new one. And countless days/nights sanding the 3 coats of paint off. Ranging from black, to red and finally green with yellow stripes.
  8. I need patch panels done on my fenders and doors. Im looking to have them repaired at a local body shop. Im looking to repair instead of by new because they orginal fenders and doors and rust really isnt that bad. If i had any experience welding id probaly give it a shotbut since i dont my options are to buy or pay someone to fix. Heres a few pics. just wana get some opinions on what other ppl did that had this problem.

  11. I wasn't planning on running mufflers but its always a possibility.This is the link to the exhaust I was thinking of getting and then putting different tips on.
  12. Thanks man. Im goin for load, and I know Magnaflow has a really good Rep too. I saw a dual side exhaust on CJpony parts for like $130 but its only 2" piping with glass packs. So I was wondering if that was worth it.
  13. I want a good sounding side exit for my 302. What size piping usually produces the best sound/performance? Use Glasspacks? Mufflers? Or straight pipe it? Im open to all suggestions just want my car to produce a great throaty sound.
  14. im gona buy a new crush sleeve and pinion seal and see if that does the trick. Thanks for all your help.
  15. I did have the yoke off. What do you mean by "set up" also can the pinion seal be replaced without it having to be pressed in?
  16. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem im having. I reassembled my rear but it started leaking fluid around the pinion seal. Bad pinion seal? Maybe the pilot seal? Or could it just be a different tightening procedure i need to use?
