  1. Ahhhhh. I'm glad I asked because I'm having the same issue with mine. Good call!

  3. I see you opted not to use the maier trunklid. Probably a good decision. I've got over 40 hours invested in mine just to get it close to looking decent and I still have some work to do on the endcaps. Rangerdoc and 70mstang had a difficult time with theirs as well. All I can say is, when it's finally done, I hope I NEVER get rear-ended.

  7. I really like the lift supports and may have missed this in an earlier posting, but did you install these to free up the space where the spring goes across the top of the trunk, or is there another reason?

  11. without pics it's hard to tell, but I think my bucket is missing the same tab as yours, so I'm anxious to see how this works out. Please keep us posted Mike and good luck! Dave
  12. I think mine was originally that bad when the PO bought it. He did some sheetmetal replacement on the front half of the car, and the floor pans. Then he noticed the secrets that the back have revealed and sold it immediately..........to me...... and a very good price. Having said that, I've replaced both rear quarter skins, tail panel, corner piece, both lower trunk extensions, front and rear valance, one door skin, hood etc.... I have a ton of hours invested in other body work too, but that's what I signed up for. I love working on it. My point is, if you start a project such as this, you may end up being the guy who is gung ho and dumps some money and time into it only to lose interest, then sell it at a financial loss. Without knowing your abilities, it's hard to say. Something to think about.
  13. Please PM price for the larger of the two (upper pics) to 24502. That one matches what I have. Thanks in advance.
  14. I was born in Fayetteville. Does that count? Sorry, not very close to Arkansas though.
  15. Awesome. Thx! The problem with my case is that it has a hole in it that I can put my fist through. Not exactly good for directing air, heh.
  16. Just checking to see if you've had a chance to take the pics of the heater case yet. Thanks, Dave
  17. You could always make your own or have an upholstery shop make some in whatever design you'd like. I don't know of any other models that would have door panels that match the stang exactly in terms of window crank, handle and arm rest locations.
  18. All of my glass is currently removed, but unfortunately the pieces that I don't have are the front and rear windshields. They were cracked so they got pitched.. sorry.
  19. i'm thinking 88 with aftermarket ram-air hood and saleen wing.
  20. Do the vin numbers on the dash and under the fender match?
