  1. It has been proven time again that a cleveland likes a bigger carb. Even stock just bolting on a 750 carb is a good upgrade. It should have been a stock size carb any way. With your intake and cam in my opinion a 750 is a must. I have a Weiand X-celerator intake with the magnum 292H comp cam and I am running an edelbrock 750 carb
  2. I am well aware of the rating of the T5. I have broke several of them. I have also used the tko tremec. Needing an overdrive or switching to a higher gear like 3.55's is in order and I'm on a budget is the reason why. The 4.11's are a bit much for the street
  3. Yes that is the gray I might do.
  4. Thanks I really appreciate that. Money is tight right now so I'm pushed back on paint as of the moment. Plus I'm moving in a couple weeks so a lot going on. I hope to get it painted over winter or in the spring maybe. I hope to be on the road next summer!
  5. I'm thinking of going with the late model factory gray color called sterling gray or I may do a matte gray. The stripe to go with it is dark blue super snake stripe. My interior is black
  6. I'm considering selling or trading my 4 speed toploader for a t5. Anyone within a days drive of Dover DE interested in making a deal
  7. I recently bought mine at NAPA for like $12
  8. Here you go. I have the whole manual for our cars in pdf...lol
  9. I think most today use the butyl tape down. Lay the windshield on top and then seal the edges with urethane. That is the way I've seen instructional videos of how to do it. There are tons of videos on youtube on how to do it.
  10. First off it didn't jump a tooth on the timing belt because there is no such thing on that motor. Does it turn over when cranking but just not firing? The timing chain would have to have an awful lot of slack in it to jump a tooth so highly unlikely. Even if it did it would still run
  11. I am not sure the wattage. I just went to buy new headlights from napa and they said they don't have the incadesent or whatever bulbs anymore. So he gave me the direct replacement for that and they are halogens. It doesn't say on the box. I am in the process of getting all my lighting working. I am in the middle of a build as you can see the link in my sig. So actually I'm having a problem now as I don't have 12v power to the headlights and I put all new fuses under the dash. So I am trying to figure out where to start next. I hate trouble shooting wiring issues. At the connector it shows 3v
  12. I just bought sealed halogens. Two low and two high. I bought all four for $38. I was just unsure about the wiring. I may get that harness soon and give it a try
  13. This looks like the way to go! http://www.ebay.com/itm/CERAMIC-H4-HEADLIGHT-RELAY-WIRING-HARNESS-HEADLAMP-LIGHT-BULB-SOCKET-PLUGS-5-3-4-/330974040111?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1969|Model%3AMustang&hash=item4d0f97102f&vxp=mtr
  14. That is what I've heard a lot about but then again it may not as dennyb68 said. I guess I will try it and see. If it blows out I'll change it out.
  15. I went to napa to get some headlights and they only have halogen replacements. Can these go in with factory wiring or does something need to be done to make them work?
  16. What are the front seats you have in there?
  17. Yes those are for heater hoses on non a/c cars
  18. I am looking to sell or trade for 8" 3.55 posi or 3.80 posi
  19. First drive lol!! On the way to by buddies house to finish body work and paint http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTbIpA9MMYs
  20. Yes actually. I will post up some pics and video next week
  21. I never cared what color any car was that I've ever purchased. It just didn't much matter. Now that I have to pick a color for my 69, it is the hardest decision I've had to make on the car. Before anyone says pick what you like it's your car... I know that :001_smile: I'm not asking what color to paint it. I'm just trying to figure out how to narrow it down. What made you pick the color you have or how did you settle on one. I'm ready to dry a color from a hat because I can't just pick one  I was going to go with a blue, then a shade or burgandy, then I was going to go with something like Emberglo or a newer burnt orange color. Now I have no frickin clue. It is very irritating. I don't want to regret it later that is all.
  22. What is this street machine nats that you speak of? I've never heard of it.
  23. Thundercrash... Yes it is definately not my favorite. But to go with the whole theme and build of my car it would fit in quite well. I see your in Middletown. I'm in Dover. What car do you have? It's good to see someone local on here.
