It is a 20 year old grant steering wheel..lol.
Yes I researched the plastidip. It will peel off of primer or bare metal just as easy.
-
You looking to trade or sell?
-
still looking for 8 inch posi 3.55 if anyone out there has one
-
The interior is almost done

Preferably in black and good shape so I don't have to paint them but any color in good shape will do. I need the d/s and p/s lower vent kick panels.

That was a terrible disaster. There is footage from security cameras on the net showing the whole thing happening in real time. That hole is 35-40 feet deep. As a Ford and Chevy owner I can say that none of my bowtie friends would wish to see any Mustangs in that hole. In addition to my 69, I also have a 59 Vette. Like the 69, it gets thumbs up wherever I go. So whatever you are driving, you should realize that vettes also have a great history in American motoring. The good news is GM is flipping the bill to restore them all, as I am sure Ford would do if it happened to them.I am well aware of all makes and models and there history. I just don't care about vettes or many other cars for that matter.
-
That's the best thing that could happened to those vettes. Now all needs to be done is fill that hole with cement!!

This is in my car right now. I want to sell or trade it for something with a higher gear ratio because this is to low for me for the street. I would like something like 3.80, 3.55 posi

Also got the new leaf springs on the rear along with the south side machine lift bars and lowering it a couple inches
-
Installed the headliner today. Also the dash, gauges, and lights all working
-
I don't think it will hit the 11's. Even with it hooking up with better suspension.
-
Well I finished the exhaust. X-pipe through Magnaflows and then center exit shelby exhaust. Also installed 2" lowering springs in rear with SSM traction bars.
-
Working on putting on new rear leaf springs to lower the rear and hopefully eliminate the BAD wheel hop. These old bushings on the front mount are a pain.

Wow, new baby, house and appendectomy! Hang in there buddy, it'll get better.Bob
Yup. Been a lot going on. Now I'm trying to get another another deer or two to add to the other in the freezer. Plus I have and ice climbing trip and mountaineering trip in Feb coming up I need to get back in shape since surgery.

Absolutely nothing wrong with plasti dip. It's super cheap, super easy to apply (and fix any mistakes made), easy to take care of. I'm going that route to get some color on my car until way down the line when I can swallow the gigantic bill for a quality paint job. Looking forward to seeing pics of it when it's done!Yup! That's my plan. I know it will still look good and one day I will get it painted. But until then I will be able to have it on the road and be able to enjoy it
-
I know I may hear a lot of criticism from this but I don't car, but with having a new baby and house money is tight. I have been working on this car for over 4 years and it is running finally. I have most everything to finish putting it together except for front windshield and a lot of little miscellaneous stuff. So with money being tight I have decided to paint the car myself with plasti dip. I have researched this stuff a million times and it is the way to go for me for cost effectiveness and to get it on the road this year finally. So I am going to be painting it an anthracite gray metallic satin finish. I'm in the process of putting everything on the car and putting the windows and interior in.
-
If you clear over the stripes they will be gloss not satin. Satin stripes are painted on after the clear
-
Ever consider plasti dip? I was very skeptical about it until I learned so much about it. Matte colors aren't a problem and the stuff is very durable. It is so easy to do and cheap. Looks great! Check out there site https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php?gclid=CN7trOyCibsCFYNxOgodQHYAAQ
Also there are tons of youtube videos on it and you can google it. I've seen tons of new mustangs new and old done. I've even seen a new shelby done.
-
I'm looking for something between 3.55 and the 4.11. It has to be posi also. 28 spline
-
I can't tell in the rear pic but are you mounting the license plate in the stock location under the bumper?

Thanks. Yeah I love the exhaust. It sounds much better in person than in the video. That cleaner is definately a hard piece to find and expensive but I had to have it to go with my shelby theme lol
