  1. Hi all, have tried a search but didn’t come up with what I wanted, which would be a better wiring set up ? The ford racing or Ron Francis for a 2017 coyote and manual trans into a 69 Mustang? Pros and cons as I haven’t used either I am in Australia, so if there are others that may suit I’d also like to hear about them thanks Paul
  2. Doner engine and 6 sp box, from 2017 Mustang
  3. can't believe how time flies, seems like last week i posted not 12 mths ago! been a lot of tidy ups, rolled shell on its side and made up rail extensions, welded the floor in place, more work on the firewall, plenum and dash setup, decided to change direction on engine trans, so sold off all the parts i had and am now on the look out for a coyote engine and transmission

  8. Hope all goes well Shaun, you'll have to make it a 5 seater now
  9. They are getting harder to find in resonable condition, had to bring this one from wa , needs resto, no major repairs or rust, how's yours going Shaun?
  10. Going to try and have it painted next year as we've just bought a vw oval that requires a resto as well, so need to have this one near finished before I start the vw for the better half

  12. No would probably cost a lot more than just having them done, this way I get what I want
  13. Yep, have them being folded as we speak , I went 2mm, they are trying to fold at 15-20 mm so it doesn't interfere with the inside too much, hopefully have mine welded together in the next week
  14. Hey Ash, what thickness steel did you use for the inner rocker panels?
  15. She's sitting on a rack ATM , nothing but diff in there, needing to weld up 1/4 panels but also want to be sure, as I said all measurements front to rear and diagonal are within 2-3 mm
  16. Hi everyone, I need a few of you to measure from the rear of the rocker panel to the rear tyres and see if there's a difference side to side, I have a 9-10 mm difference but have done measurement checks of the chassis and its all within 2-3mm, so am at a bit of a loss as to where it's out? Or has anyone else had this issue? Thanks
  17. not having a console will help, looking good so far.
  18. Unless your going to modify an original console a side mount is the only alternative, maybe a jap car from left hand drive may work? If there is one
  19. Don't know who's photos they are??
  20. Haven't tried the hand brake yet. I have a ba one that should work and keep the original console , times been a bit limited lately , been getting the house ready for sale if we find another we like and it's got room for a large shed. Would like to be a bit further than I am but any progress is good I suppose
  21. Been a while since I last posted, not enough hours in the day, had to add metal to gap the boot lid, widened the inner wheel wells so my 295's fit nicely
