The Ford tooling ones are definitely worth the extra $$. You will regret buying the cheaper ones.

Kris - I got a PM just a few minutes before your post so these parts are sold pending funds. I'll let you know if it doesn't work out.

I have these misc. brackets that I don't need. The strut rods are 1970 style. All of these parts have some level of rust pitting. Some - like the crossmember (small block) and pinion snubber - are pretty bad. I would like to sell the whole lot to one person for $20 (for packaging and the 30 min. drive to town) plus shipping at cost. Shipping is from NC, 28721. If you want less than all, it is still $20 plus shipping. I think my email is in my profile but if you can't find it, a PM is fine. PARTS ARE SOLD!

On a '69 there is another harness that runs to the front and ties into the front turn signals to activate the hood mounted turn signals.

Tach car with seat belt warning light
rockhouse66 replied to Raven R code's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Yes, it just comes on with the switch and times out. No connection with the belts themselves. -
I emailed you about the firewall pad but no reply?

Really a '69 and not a '70? I would say that is very scarce, since I think pretty much all the service hoods were '70 style.

This should help;

Joe - the sway bar brackets worked out great! Thanks!

I am interested in the sway bar brackets if they are not pitted. Sent you a PM.

That's a wicked looking coupe with a great stance!

These folks at Allstate do this but I have not seen their work so can't speak to the results; http://www.allcarbs.com/shop.php?art=5

FWIW, I think that bolt that goes in the bottom of the door and retains the guide rail is special shallow head and probably not reproduced.

I purchased an item from this seller. It was an awkward item to ship so it took him a few days to get organized but he did not ask for payment until it was ready to ship. It was nicely packaged and in good shape when it arrived. I did see a photo first, and I got what I paid for. No issues for me.

David Kee sells a repro.

Shane - I sent you a PM but no reply?

I have a complete '69 Mustang manual top for sale near Athens, GA. Those rear trim pieces are gone though. It is still in the car and can be operated to show it functions.

No prices on the std. Marti report I have and I don't have the window sticker. -
1969 Grande Hood Scoop Turn Signal
rockhouse66 replied to Tony Coupe-r's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Interestingly, I have the Marti for a standard coupe that has the Sports Appearance group and "color keyed racing mirrors" and they are listed on the Marti as separate options. I assumed from this the sport mirrors were not part of the SA package. The car did have a tape stripe and the hood scoop. -
"Was the timing tab painted aswell?" Yes.

Sorry if I mislead you on the PCV. I am familiar with FEs in general, but not the specifics of your 390 GT engine. I was thinking about the typical hose from the valve cover and tube that runs from front of intake to rear. Yes, bypass hose and clamps got painted - not so much on purpose as an overspray from painting the intake, timing cover and water pump on the engine.
-
Pretty much everything was installed except the oil filter adapter, crankshaft damper, carb & distributor. Even the PCV setup was on the engine. This means the water pump, bypass hose, thermostat housing, etc. were all painted engine color.

Sent you an email about the radiator.
