  1. I have these miscellaneous parts for sale. SOLD! See picture below. Includes new repro window regulator, rear bumper brackets, repro trunk seal and some door seals, etc. Paypal preferred. Contact me first committing to buy and I will provide email for Paypal.
  2. Well, Lunati says it is "most awesome" so it must be good :-) I would think it would have a nice docile "chop" at idle and idle speed would be 800 or so. Just guessing from the specs but looks like a good choice for your 351W to me. No personal experience with this one though.
  3. Randy mentioned it above but I'll say it again, the dual exhaust cars with transverse muffler had the fuel sender routed out the right side. You can buy the extension wire here; http://anghelrestorations.com/parts.html
  4. When I was shopping a couple of years ago I could not find an aftermarket wheel with the correct size center hole. All were larger than original wheels. However, some had smaller center holes than Vintiques. Though I guess it doesn't really matter what size they are if they aren't the correct diameter to fit snugly. For me, it was an appearance thing because I was not running hubcaps on the wheels.
  5. I have a pair still with original paint and trim. No clue what these things are worth? $75 plus shipping? Just noticed the right side one is damaged. See picture.
  6. I used this stuff; http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3M-Automotive/Aftermarket/Products/~/3M-Channel-Bonding-and-Sidelite-Adhesive-08641-47-3-mL-6-per-case?N=3294532134&rt=d
  7. There are good pictures of the assembly order in the shop manual.
  8. I didn't say they didn't. I am saying that clutch won't work with a C9Z fan, which was the OP's question.
  9. As a note of caution, I think the C8OE-B fan uses a different pattern or pilot hole size (don't recall which - maybe both) and therefore uses a different fan clutch than the C9Z fan.
  10. Hayden's application info for the '69 CJ is incorrect, as you learned. And yes, the Jaguar clutch is the right one for '69 and the C9Z fan or similar with the same pilot diameter.
  11. SOLD! Pair of used Flowmaster 50 mufflers, offset in, center out, 2.5" diameter. Mufflers measure about 17" long X 9" wide with 3-1/4" long stubs. These have some tabs added to hang them with stock '69 Fairlane hangers. Might be the same as '70 hangers? The bolt centers on the hanger tabs are about 5-7/8". Price is $95 for the pair plus shipping at cost from 28721. They are only about 6# each (guessing) so shipping should not be too bad and I would use the cheapest of USPS, FedEx or UPS.
  12. I thought you were talking about the radiator support hole - wasn't connecting the dots and just thinking about the hood. My bad. Sorry.
  13. Pretty sure the hole in the reinforcement isn't 3".
  14. Geez - only good part left is the rear axle. Even the tach dash is AWOL.
  15. The tilt is worth what you paid for the whole car. And how about that, one reinforced shock tower on the DS. This car is too rusty to bother with IMO. Part it.
  16. Also interested in parts from this car. Surprised a 351 Grande has an 8" rear....??? I am especially interested in the firewall pad when you get down that far.
  17. I had this problem once and found that the end of one of the springs was touching the inside face of the drum (not the OD). You could see that the spring was shiny on the tip.
  18. You may like and value the slats/spoilers but neither are correct on a '69 car. FYI. And I agree the 3.91 car is likely a better "investment" if you can call it that. Prices sound reasonable based on your description.
  19. Curious to know if you think the scope was original to your car and, if so, how did it get there? Do you have a Marti that shows some option that would include the scoop? I am trying to figure out if the scoop on my car is factory original or added later.
  20. I remove the studs from the manifolds so they don't punch or snag anything and also have been removing the bellhousing. Then the engine will drop straight down without the need to tilt anything. You don't need to install w/o the manifolds installed. You do probably need to drop the idler arm bracket so you can lower all the steering gear but, again, you don't have to remove that stuff.
  21. I am looking for a firewall pad. PM sent. OK, says you can't accept more PMs...??? Here are my questions; Do either of your cars still have a complete firewall pad? Also, on the Grande, is the trunk mat, trunk underlayment or the underhood insulation still there?
  22. Is that an original 4-speed speedo cable? What is the length please?
  23. It is out of a '69 Mustang 302-2V convertible if you can believe that! I'm thinking $450 plus shipping. Tough part to find BTW.
