  1. If you want to see the build for the Wifes Mach, here is the link: http://s24.photobucket.com/user/newstang2/library/1969%20Mach1%20Resto-Mod
  2. Thanks, its a ton of work, I manufacture gas fireplaces, so I have a metal shop, not specifically set up for thin sheetmetal, but at least I have every tool. On the wifes car i cut out the 68 tail light sections, welded them into the 69 panel, epoxied the lenses in and sanded the lenses down with the bondo.
  3. Thanks, its my second one as a restomod, the other one with a 4.6 cobra 5speed I did for my wife. just in case anyone wants to see it:
  4. Looks like im gonna have to marry the two, anyone have a 71-73 ram air, I really just need the top skin with scoops.
  5. Catching up to current. as of today the tail is all welded in with quarters ( in the rear ) Modified side marker rear to flush LED. So far everything fits well. The Dynacorn Full Quarters are great! , not the same as the Junk quarter skins, they are completely different stampings.
  6. Replace B Pillars, Fitting quarters, and tail panel
  7. I dont know how those two pics " thumbnails" are in the above post, its not mine and wont let me delete them//
  8. More cutting out crap and begin install of front Rails
  9. firewall installed, and modified for Coyote clearance.
  10. BTW, the Full floor is worth it, the amount of saved work, trying to line up everything is all done. Very well made !
  11. Now the fun begins All new Dynacorn parts and full floor.
  12. Hi Guys, here is my current project, Bought this car for 1k and replaced everything except the roof itself. Ok, also the outer rockers cause it was the only thing holding it together as all other parts go on. Im looking for some 69 fenders and hood if anyone is local in CT and price is reasonable. I'll post a few pics , but the photobucket shows daily progress.
  13. yea, the Shelby hood is way too much ( in holes ) I like the simplicity of the ram air hood. I was even looking at a later model hood from a mach1, but theyre all fiberglass, Im a metal guy, not sure i could tackle the mating of that. I checked out Anvil, and that looks nice, but very expensive.
  14. Does anybody know if a hood is made for the 69 to look like the 71-73 ram air? I really like the look of this hood and would rather not start cutting up hoods to make it happen.
  15. Ive never seen black chrome, sounds pretty good, is it sold or do you have to have it done? There are places where trim would be needed to cover seams and holes, but at the stage Im at i can weld them all in. I just want to make this car very clean, My last mustang I did Fiat door handles and flushed the tailights with 68 lenses.
