  6. i just txt'd him to let him know he needs to come by and figure it out, if it needs a new top, it will have to be at his expense.

  8. my clamps are so hard to engage that im sure they will break if he doesnt correct this. In fact he did at one point say that tops shrink so im confused how he thinks it can stretch.

  10. Ok, so have two issues, the first is the top is so tight it doesn't really reach all way forward without two people pushing it in to latch. as it is one person cannot close the top by themselves. Is there an adjustment to make the frame come forward? Second issue is the weatherstrip does not match up by the rear side windows. any advice?
  11. a regular rivet gun works fine it just cant be a flat tip, it needs to be the cone shape tip.
  12. i didnt test fit it yet, im hoping :-) they are 6.5" fosgate

  14. yes, have a pro do it. Its not as straight forward as you would think. I watched my guy do it and he uses a steamer to get out wrinkles.
  15. did that, he got some of it out but being the metal came to a point it stretched too much
  16. yea no kidding, this goes to show how slow biz. is.
  17. I have built stuff for less time than screwing around with the glass!! these things suck. Not to mention the new rubber on the top seems to overlap and prevent the rear glass from seating.
  18. they are all longer and need to be re-shaped around the bends, throw away those bolts and use 1/4-20 x 1"
  19. funny, i just looked back on when i started this car, Oct 18 2018, it should be complete by that date 2019 1 year.

  21. Aside from that the top looks great
  22. So I learned something new today. Did you know that the tack strip and bolts from a cougar are NOT the same for a mustang? Did you also know that the bolts for the tack strip from a cougar are longer and go through the quarter panel? I do !
