If you read the write up on the Borgeson steering conversion in Mustang Monthly, they say to use the OEM idler arm if you want the steering to return to center. Not sure where in the SE you are located but there is a mustang salvage yard in Richmond, VA that has plenty of parts cars and could probably help you.
