EastYorkStang got a reaction from Mach1 Driver in Dynamat, etc, etc
Used Dynamat on my 65 El Camino. Cut foot squares. Placed one inside the doors. One on either side of the roof. Then all accross the firewall until under the seat.
Big difference. Now I hear the other creaks and rattles better ….

EastYorkStang got a reaction from RPM in Any value in an original 69 302?
Just curious what value the block would hold ?
Saying this as a person who has lugged the original block from my '70 through three house moves so far. Still sitting in the same refuse container I put it in almost 28 years ago.

EastYorkStang got a reaction from RPM in Any value in an original 69 302?
If you can go with a newer 5.0 block. Make it look like the original one. Much better starting point. Does not have to be a Mustang unit just a roller block.

EastYorkStang got a reaction from RPM in Carb pad height
With my car I had an Edelbrock Performer RPM. This put the shaker in direct contact with the hood. After researcing intakes I found their Torker manifold to be the stock height. This cured the clearance issue.

EastYorkStang got a reaction from RPM in Is a 1969 A-C Vacuum Canister Rebuildable?
Took a Heinz tomato juice can myself. Popped two small holes in it. Used it for years until I got rid of the A/c units.
Left the labels on it.

EastYorkStang got a reaction from Ridge Runner in Missing my 1935 Ford pick up .
This has got me thinking about building a 1940 Ford pickup. Orange with a red interior. As a kid I built a model of one that I've always liked.
Think it was a Monogram unit

EastYorkStang reacted to maxum96 in Trying to annoy the neighbors
I had to pull the transmission to address an oil leak today. I figured a short video with open headers before I bolted the exhaust back on was in order. I didn't rev it more than about 3,500 rpm.

EastYorkStang reacted to RPM in New Ride/Project
Drove to Canyon Lake TX to pick up my first love from a buddy. My first vehicle was a 56 F100, which I foolishly sold circa 1980.
