Actually the axle code will tell if its a Super Cobra or not. 3.91 or 4.30 geared cars are Super's That R just means it is Ram Air or shaker equipped.

Thinking about installing a '89 5.0L engine out of a H.O. Mustang and need to know whatfuel pump to use? What amount of the harness I need to pull as well off the car. I have a complete car to take whatever I need to make this swap work. Just don't know what I need? Thanks!

Just got back from a car show where a guy had a '69 Mach 1 with LED headlights. Had a ring of LED on the outside with (I think) HID as the main light. Never seen this design before. Guy told me Lumtronics? But after doing a search for them can't find any info. Any one else seen them? Thanks

My car came with factory A/C and it has the group 27 battery.

Interesting setup. KYB's are what I use. On mine I cut two coils off in the front, reversed eye leafs and 3" blocks in the back. Look for the avatar for a picture.

I had a Performer Rpm on mine (1970 351W - T5) but the hood would never close right. Always binding at the rear, sticking up putting pressure on the hood. The hood and shaker would shake in unison. Changed mine to a Torker and it looks and sits right now.

I found some chrome plated brass ones a while ago. Never pitted again.

For $2300 what are you getting? Why go for F.I. in the first place? Is it really that much difference between the two? I have an '89 EFI'd 5.0l that I've been contemplating dropping in but my thoughts were to ditch the F.I. and stick a Holley on it.

Just getting my '70 back out of storage and was wondering how to hook up the parking brake. I have a 9"out of a Versailles installed just not the parking brakes. Wagner cables F113204 are on it but not connected to the front pedal. What other cables should I get or what else can I do? Thanks

Welcome.... I've been thinking of using your bumpers but I'm curious as to how they fit? Noticed they were tucked in on the sides but then again your sides (quarters) are flared out. My car has stock quarter panels. Darryl

When I was changing my car to a road racer I installed a Detroit Locker Tru Trac rearend. So far so good going on three years noa nd no problems. Knock on wood....

Nice shoes. I have 3"studs on my rear axles and use open ended lug nuts. McGard sells them as well as open locking nuts. Go with poly bushings everywhere as this will tighten it up a lot. Beware though the longer you push the wheel out, the studs are what is supporting the weight. Don't scrimp on the studs!

I have 17X8's on my car with 235 and 255's. The magnums came from Specialty and although I am happy with the design, the workmanship is crap. Started rusting weeks after I got them. To their credit Specialty gave me a another pair to replace the worst ones but they are rusty now as well. And yes I did talk to them regarding caring for them. Darryl
