Removed all the bolts holding it to the dash. Loosened the clamp at the firewall. Moving the connector allowed me to pull it out to remove the rag joint and coupler. Thanks !

Started replacing the rag joint on my 70. Don't want to remove the steering box so I'm curious if I could move the steering column ?

Thinking about putting some '14 Mustang wheels (235/50/18) on my '70 I've got 235 and 255/45/17 on it now but they are cracked from age. I know I need wheel spacers around 1-1/2 on the front to 2" on the back. Ive never used spacers so I'm curious about them.

Got a 3G alternator from a friend. Trying to locate the connector(s) that I need. Got a 150 amp fuse and 4g wiring. Just need the voltage regulator connector. Don't know what car the alternator same off so I'm stuck as to which one I need. My local jobber caries Pico connectors.

3G or 6G alternator conversion

With going to a bigger amp alternator would this damage the wiring? -
Has it been reached ?
-
What shifter do you use with your conversion? I have one that when it's in 1-3-5 it almost beyond my reach. Thinking of cutting and rewelding it.

I'm building up a 351windsor and I've got a performer rpm camshaft for a 302 already. Except for the firing order it's the same? Just use the right firing order and I'm okay?

Thanks for the information. I'll look into it further. I'm in EastYork, Ontario.

Starting driving my 70 again after installing a flaming river box. Car still pulls left and right depending on the crown of the road. Thinking about going with a unisteer 8001090-1 but according to the info I've read it might not fit with my headers or stock starter I'm running headman 88668 units on my 351W with World SR heads. Has anyone put a rack on their car? I'm broke so I'm trying to stay low cost. Thanks !

Anyone with a shaker ever get water in their engine ? I just pulled mine out of long term storage and had water everywhere. NOT coolant but plain water. Removed the valve covers and wiped all the residue. Drained the oil/water mix. Flushing it now with fresh oil. Any other tips ?

I'm curious to put 2005 wheels on my 1970. Have to determine what spacers I need? Any info?
-
I have the Lincoln rear end on my car. Spring perches are identical. Bolts in. You'll need to fabricate parking brake cables/levers. You may have to modify your driveshaft as well.
-
Did you find out what spacers are needed ?

Looks cool. PM me once you know you can make more, I may take one? -
After looking through Mustang Steve's site his upgrade is based on drum spindles. I have factory discs. Any ideas there, besides changing spindles?
-
What did it take to install these?

I suspect my $350 PA-Performance alternator is toast

Or while its running disconnect the battery. Alternator supplies the juice while running, battery just starts it.
