  1. Ive got LED tail lights that blink sequentially. Recently the flasher unit stopped working. Installed a normal flasher that will make the tail lights blink like normal but not sequentially. Which flasher should I get. Ive been all over the web looking into this. Come across ones that slow the rate If all my lights are LED. Using incandescent bulbs for the front turn signal.
  2. Went to look for replacement flasher since my circuit board one stopped working. Blinks with the old pre LED flasher but doesn’t sequential . Local part store had one marked #34. But it has three terminals. Anyone try this #34 ?
  3. Adding relays for my horn, lights, fan, etc. Don't want to overload the stud on the starter solenoid. Looking for suggestions ?
  4. Totally agree. Needed a fix so I could drive the car. Looking now into making a power point or terminal so I can put more relays in place. Only so much I can put on the solenoid.
  5. Define "HOT" are you going from a factory gauge ? Get a portable temperature checker. I use one with a laser pointer. Mine read at the high end of the factory gauge. Checked at the thermostat, and the temp sender. Both read 185.
  6. Changed the underdrive crank pulley over to a stock 5.0L pulley.
  7. I used one of these when I converted mine to manual steering. https://www.cjponyparts.com/manual-steering-adapter-mustang-1967-1970/p/MSA/ Never changed the centre link or any other parts.
  8. Thanks for all the help. Decided to install the factory wheel.
  9. Pulled my steering wheel off to look into my horn and turn signal problems. New flasher unit fixed the turn signals. Realized the emergency flashers are on with the horn fuse. Got the fuse just as the sun set. Will start again in the morning.
  10. I’ve got the steering wheel off the car now. If I disconnect the horns and press the horn button the fuse should blow. If I get what you’re saying about the buttons grounding out ?
  11. What is this slip ring you talk about ? Grant # 1150 is what I have.

  13. Has anyone put in a relay in their ‘70 for the horn ? On mine I blow fuses. I’m running a Grant steering wheel which I think is the reason.
  14. Thanks. I have relays in place. Also upgraded to a modern 3G alternator. I'll look into that.
  15. Where on my '70 can I take 12v power that's switched on/off with the ignition switch ? I have fans powered directly off my solenoid.
  16. When using the new alternator how does it affect the dipstick?

  19. Nice truck. Curious why you're going with Fitech ? I'm undecided but want to EFI my cars.
