What did you clean it with ? I’m installing a Spectra tank in my 1965 El Camino. Got the GM37EFI unit. -
Aeromotive or Tanks Inc EFI tanks?
EastYorkStang replied to Casgar's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Spectra has a tank in 22 gallons. F28DFI. Found it on Rockauto. Pictures show it to have the lines in the stock configuration. -
That’s the plan I have.

Please post what happens. I got fed up with my Grant wheel. Replaced it with a stock one. No problems since. -

Look at the price difference between the two. Is that worth the upgrade ? -
Steering Box to Exhaust Manifold Clearance Issue
EastYorkStang replied to rmarks's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Curious why the drivers side looks free flowing but not the passenger side ? -
I use Meguiars Quick Detailer on my ‘69 Road Runners hood stripes. Spray it on then quickly wipe it off with a microfibre cloth.

Were there any pictures of this ?

351w Broken duraspark 2 distributer in 351w + roller cam
EastYorkStang replied to Nuzzlet's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
MSD #8584 is taller then the duraspark unit I took out of my 351W. With the MSD I had to space the carb a half inch higher so my Shaker would fit. Using an Edelbrock Torker manifold replicating the stock carb height.- 4 replies

Painless or American Autowire update
EastYorkStang replied to jjstang's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I used an AAW kit on my ‘65 El Camino. Instructions were straight forward. Did it in sections. Wasn’t rushed, never kept track of time. When I bought it Painless didn’t offer a kit. AAW had a seminar at Syracuse the year before I attempted it. -
Not at all. Don’t see how it would. Balances out no passenger on that side. Continues the driver along the drivers side.
-
What about a single offset stripe ? Thinking about doing it if I get rid of my shaker.
-
Come up with a plan, your ideal engine. Then work towards it.

They're not naked. They have Trenchcoats
-
Where, how is it attached on the chassis ?
-
At what speed would these be effective? Probably over the posted limits.

What did you do to/for your Mustang today?
EastYorkStang replied to 69_Mustang's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Does researching flasher units for my 1970 qualify ? My LED tail lights stopped blink sequentially. -
Did you secure it with a bolt into the actual frame or where is it bolted to ? Thinking I might do this.
-
