I think this is probably a typo, it is probably $60,000. Otherwise, this guy is fishing for a sucker. I hope someone in the same area code gives this guy a call and lets the rest of us know.

1969 wood grain instrument restorations ??
428stang replied to rchappelear's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
A while ago I saw this foil in a model car shop. You simply clean the surface and rub the foil on the part. I thought this might be a good solution for this. I have not tried it yet, but it is cheap, an it is made to apply to platic model cars, so it may work out. I hope someone tries this out. -
It appears to be a great deal, but if you read the add it says they set the price to a reasonable $23,900. I think there is an error, or this may be one of those scam type add we hear of on eBay.

I agree that the Fox bodies rules, second to 1969 Mustangs. I had lots of exposure to these humble beasts in the 80's. I guess they represent the second wave, or awakening of our favorite ponycar. My first ride in a fox body was a new 1983 GT, I thought it was fast as hell. My last ride in a fox body was in a 1993 5.0 LX Notchback, it was fast as hell. All said, I would never trade my '69 for a Fox, but I sure would love to add a black 1986 GT, 5-Speed, with Factory Sunroof (I haven't seen many with these) to my stable.

Great color choice, when in doubt original is always a great way to go. My Sportsroof came to me in a maroon color, and I pretty well had set my mind on black. As I started stripping down the paint, out popped the original T code Candyapple Red, and black went out the window. I think I can bear the "another red Mustang" label. -
Thanks guys, the spares sound like a good way to go. They will be easier to store when not in use due to their smaller size.

Yes, looking for wheels to roll around the garage. Just wondering what vehicles I should look for.

Hi guys, I need to find some cheap wheels and tires to keep my project car mobile during restoration. Can you recommend any late model cars that may have a compatible bolt pattern and offset? I was thinking some cheap steelies from a Crown Vic. might work, but I haven't found any available yet.

I searched to see if anyone else has posted this yet, doesn't look like it. Check out this guys detailed Mustang projects (lots of pics): 1) 1969 Mustang Limited Edition 600 Coupe 2) 1969 Mustang Limited Edition 600 Sportsroof 3) 1969 Mustang Sportsroof http://homepages.together.net/~manycj/entrance.htm I wonder if this guy is on 1969stang? If you get a chance, let me know what you think of his method for rear quarter panel replacement.

I bet you just can't wait to see it all together. I love this color and all the contrasting Mach 1 trim. Keep the pics coming.

I am looking forward to this! I will be taking my 13 year old, he is a big fan of Yellow Mustangs. We need to keep the passion for this historic vehicle alive for future generations. 428stang from Canada.
