  3. I'm with ya..... took a gas bath recently as the replacement sending unit did not seat in old tank. Seems lately you buy 2 parts to get one working one
  4. I just ran the antenna cord through the pass door sill into the trunk and mounted in the trunk space (inside), a 2' rubber coated antenna... no holes had good reception....

  9. I literally was just posting this at the same time! Was it coincidence that Ken Block releases Gymkhana 7 with his 'new' 1965 AWD Mustang on the same day as the new GT350? BTW - watch for the infamous white Bronco.
  10. the new 2016 was just unveiled today. Finally......... http://www.freep.com/story/money/car...show/19163101/
  11. Now that is hilarious! I've restored a 65 Vert Vette over the past few years and have fought and fought overheating till I was crazy! and he cvet forum always said timing, timing, Dewitt radiator and timing ROFL I have the article I believe you refer to.. a good one but is to big to post (2.1Mb)
  12. if it was me (personal choices), First off I would used DOT4+ synthetic . Why? lasts longer if car is not driven daily. DOT3 after 3-4 years partial use of vehicle will "swell" and loose it's efficiency some quote. Second make yourself a "pressurized" bleeder using a lawn pump can from Tru Value or Home Depot and an extra MC cap. I've been bleeding brakes this way for years by myself... very easy and no pedal pushing, pumping or screaming to helper. To give you an idea what I'm talking about look at this video... I just used a stock MC cap and plugged the relief hole in the back to make it work... 3rd... you are about 1hr 15 min from me... stop over and if you want to and I'll loan ya my set up...
  13. I put an MSD dizzy and MSD box in the Mach1. I know a lot of people on the C2 vette forum that use Petronix II and their biggest grip is the Flamethrower coil, to the point many carry a spare coil with them. I have yet to install one on my 65 vette but probably will but use a different coil. To that point - I'm helping a friend restore a 65 Mustang convertible and went with the PII but used an MSD coil...
  14. there was a supplier http://www.therimblowbuddy.com/page/page/2599804.htm who sold the separate inserts for ~$20 a set... link is bad on parts but you could try to contact them.
  15. I have a set of 70 fenders...... good condition
  16. Had the same thing happen to me twice with the TL/ Hurst and had to tighten up the linkage, replace the collars etc... Since then upgraded to a 5 speed and have the TL and linkage in the pile in the corner of the garage.............. never to be put back in!
  17. Keisler RS600 required tunnel mods, a 6"x3" trim job. The new trans mount and trans alignment caused the engine to droop back 1/2" to 1". How do I know this? When I closed the hood, it scraped the shaker. Could it be eliminated - yes, but it required realignment of the motor mounts and after waiting 9 months for the trans it was going in ASAP Advice: Check, ask and all questions re: geometry / alignment before and after, changes ie. tunnel trim, motor mount shift, drive shaft etc...
