CJ for a lot of things. Especially if they're running a sale, like they are now. NPD is about an hour from me, so I have picked up items there. Summit Racing and JEGS for some things like Goodmark doors and trunk and for performance parts.

Wow, great looking build!!
-
Thanks for the reply. Those were the 2 that I was looking at as well. I have a 351 W, so I dont have to worry about the Cleveland brackets, but will be running a March pulley system, so I've got that to figure out.

Quick question on the air conditioning choice - I'm looking at that myself and am undecided as to which to choose. What did you like about the Vintage Air?

If I had unlimited funds I might have gone another way but the TCI will do what I want and look good doing it for a reasonable cost. +1 I went with the TCI for the same reasons. The great thing about building a car is that I get to do it the way I'd like. For me, one of the values of this site is to see what everyone else's ideas are........

It's going to be a great build. Keep the pics coming

Thanks. Yes, seems like there's progress and then slows down again. I'm sure I'm not alone there. Question on your car. The valve covers look great. Where did you get them? Most of what I've seen doesnt have the raised lettering and logo.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you use both the sound and isulation products? Have you been satisfied with the results? Im still considering using dynamat in doors and maybe floor, just wondering if I need it.

Installed Lizard Skin on interior panels this week. Floor, quarters, trunk, roof. It really cuts down on the resonance of the metal. Should be much more quiet and also spraying the insullation coat. A little messy if you don't cover everything, but pleased with the result. http://www.lizardskin.com/

Nice work! -
It's great to see a plan come together. Gives me some sense of hope. I've only had mine for 6 yrs. Probably 3 months from paint.

+1 !!

Got everything back from the powdercoat today. I was very pleased. Decided to go with "hammered" finish on axle housing
-
Yes it does. Thanks, Scott.
-
What size are your wheels and tires? thanks
-
Good sound. I do have another question for you. What are the seats in your car?
-
Agree with Bob. Homeowners does not cover autos, even in the garage. I have mine through Haggerty. They do understand vehicles under construction and what the replacement value is.
-
Wow.... look great!!
-
Yeah figured I might as well get it finished. Realized after 6 years that I wasn't getting any younger, richer or better looking

Thanks. As far as the fab work, this is beyond my expertise and available equipment, so I'm working with a guy who has those capabilities.
-
Over the weekend added the roll bar hoop - still have to fab the supports. Also fit the aprons, radiator and fans.

Progress has been slow..... Finally fitted the TCI subframe connector, torque arm, rear suspension and the axle housing
