Wow! Your car is looking fantastic! How long was it at MTF and when did it finally come back home? Congratulations!
Thanks! The car was there about 13 months. Got it back home last week... few more items and should be good to go this month,,,,,,,,,
Nice! I really like the contrast between the black dash cover and silver/gray instrument bezel. Somebody else on here has the same colors and it looks so cool.
Thanks!

Looking very nice! What can you tell us about the roll bar trim panel pieces that cover where the rb extends past the original quarter trim panel surface? Were they hand made? I've not seen them before, they do look nice.
Is it difficult installing the headliner with the roll bar? Does the roll bar install thru the windshield opening?
Check out the video. Actually, it was somewhat difficult because I originally had a roll bar installed without checking clearance, so I had to cut that out and start over. After that, easy.

Man is that looking great! Did you end up going with new door panels on both sides or refurb your originals?
New door panels. Originals were standard interior door panels. Used the Mustang to Fear ABS inserts, since I wasn't trying to restore anything

Slow, slow, SLOW! Detail work at the rear of the car continues, but progress has been made! Heading into the Fall season and things are starting to shape up on the bodywork front. Soon, we will be fitting new doors and working the roof areas. My Winter work is planned!http://1970boss302.blogspot.com/2014/10/rear-body-detail-work-hi-build-primer.html
Takes time to get it right! Thanks for all the detail.

Got to thinking about that after it was painted. Should have known when I picked the colors, especially since I am an M grad.
-
Thanks for the complements. Don't know if this will be done in the next couple of months or not. Don't really want to think about transporting it during the winter, though.
-
Starting to put the parts and pieces back together.
In case you're wondering - no, the 80's Keystone wheels will not make the cut.
-
A little more progress on the paint and striping. Rich and his crew have done great work with the fit and paint.

Interesting for a 69, since there are no quarter panel scoops. So, either those were filled in, was a boss body, which would have been a shame not to restore, or more likely a 70 body with a 69 rear panel and front fenders and grille.

Agree on the 408 Stroker. Great torque (not real easy on the gas.........)
