You have an aftermarket carb and the filter you have is for an original carb. You will need to just get an inline filter with the correct sized slip on hose ends.

My 69 has nothing bolted there.

I say screw the reviews and just buy what you can get. They will work as proven on mine. Even if you buy X molding that says it fits right out of the box it may still need to be tweaked to fit your car.

I have 1 1/2" or travel from the top back of the pedal to where the pad wraps wround. Are you going down to DuQuoin this weekend for Car Craft?

With the Cleveland you also want to make sure that you have the correct thermostat. The correct one will have a "hat" that closes off the bypass under the stat when it opens. If you just go to a parts store and ask for a replacement stat for a Cleveland chances are that you will get the wrong one.

When you say caltracs did you get the leafs and shocks also? I have wanted to get them but thought I could get different shocks that were not so pricey.

I would try glass cleaner and a NEW razor blade if its not etched it should come right off..

the wire pigtail should be near the drivers side wheel hump in the trunk if you have one. mine did not so i added one. the on you're talking about should be for the licence plate light..

or you can just keep your center link and buy an adapter the screws to the end where the valve is now that's what i did and it works great..

Does anyone know off hand where would be a good spot to pick up switched power to feed my msd box it seems that most of the power is killed when the key is in the start position then powers back up in the run position. I need it to be hot all the time but switched with the key?

The builder set up all of the internals. I had to have the pistons made because none of the out of the box pistons would allow me to use my closed chamber heads and keep the compression down enough to run pump gas.

I had to cut off almost a full coil on my springs to make it the way I wanted it. I also did the Shelby drop but that wasn't enough.
