    Bandwidth issue

I am about to switch the hosting over to amazon web services in the next few days for some bandwidth breathing room. Then I'll have to work with the forum software customer service to make the upgrades compatible with a new version of PHP so we can finally secure the website away from the bots that have been eating the bandwidth. The current hosting company has been less than useful unfortunately.

I tried to "Like" Ben's post, but that is unfortunately still broken for me. Anyway, I'm happy for the coming changes. With all the bot posts and my anti-virus program telling me the site isn't secure, I was seriously considering not returning to the site.

    Gas Cap tabs potentially bent

69 Flip style. Lift the tab to open. You may have a twist style? In any event a bit of tinkering may be needed. Wise and mature to ask. FWIW a good time to compare your dash gas gauge reading to the actual amount needed to fill up. Brian

    Sometimes you don’t win

I just got the engine back from the engine builder. #1 cylinder had to be re-sleeved. The rest of the components were still good. Luckily the re-sleeving did not affect the other cylinders. They cleaned up the heads and intake and put it back together. I even had them break in the engine for me. So a few thousand dollars later I am ready to put it back into the car and get it running for the very first time. If I put some effort into it, I could get it on the road by summer. I need to polish those valve covers, too.

Can the forums, individually or enmasse, be locked, locking all threads and preventing creation of any new threads. I would be ok having everything locked till the issues can be addressed. It might also stop the russian bots completely. I would think the site wouldn't get shutdown but everything would still be viewable. Would that work?

What did you do to/for your Mustang today?

Hopefully it is just something bumped the bulb in the trunk. First time I ever got pulled over in my car I was 16 and dropping my dad at the airport. I got pulled over for tail light being out. I opened the trunk and it was because my dad's suitcase had bumped the bulb in the trunk and I just needed to reseat it. I am torn about getting an indoor dust only cover for my car. Maybe I should just get a good cotton sheet. My car will be in the garage but it gets dusty in there.

    Hand held english wheel

Pinned the rollers ,clamped it in a vice ad tried it out . Dented a piece of an old mustang hood and took it to the roller ,there is a trick to keeping it where you want it but it pushed the dent right out. I still have to bolt the roller pins in and i cant wait to try the real thing! I changed the lower roller to a more flat roller

    1967 Mustang Coupe For Sale

Dannymac. Nice, car. Nice work, really well done and clean. The body lines are super straight. The car used to have a vinyl top. What color was it? Vic

Rocker panels - anything remotely close?

Excellent! Message sent. The rear curves are what is all jacked up on the ones I got (plus the 1/4" extra width). See pics, bent ends are from NPD and they confirmed all are like that. I thought they were banged up during shipping. The one pic of the nice but overly curved one is from CJ Pony. The stamping is less crisp than the NPD one.
