    Frame Alignment before Paint

unless the car was wrecked, it is pointless to have it checked for being straight.

    6R80 transmission

Good idea to stick with the 4R70W. Actually a very good trans. Used them in trucks for a long time. Hold a lot of torque. The engine is mapped with speed load points with the mass air flow sensor before the throttle body. Along with the output at the O2 sensor and the injectors they know what the torque is and try to optimize the trans shift schedule. Way too much for what its worth. The 4R will work great.

From the photos your car looks nice. Standard interior with the fold down back seat. Event he Philco radio is still there. Reminds me of my 69 GT when I got it in 1979.

    69 Mach 1 A/C evaporator drain location

Thanks for the feedback I found the hole under the carpet.. It seems a silly place for the drain hose at it looks like some passenger in the past may have kicked it and broken it so with a bit of fiddling silicone etc attached a new drain hose from the evaporator.. My car has factory Air Cpn but was not working correctly so after i had it fixed the condensate issue arose so now all good for Queensland's hot weather as most of my fellow stang mates use open windows John

    6R80 transmission

Correct, I too worked with Ford calibrators for over 20 years... They use the output from several sensors to calculate what they call "Inferred Load", which they use for several engine management functions... Before the days of Wide Band O2 sensors, they used Inferred Load to approximate Volumetric Efficiency for Fuel Management. The Inferred metrics are derived from extensive dyno testing which allows the calibration engineers to create "Maps" and "Tables" to control Fuel and Spark under almost all operational and environmental conditions!!!

    Original cylinder head upgrade

i don't know anything about the blueprint heads other than that they are chinese but i know about blueprint engines and don't have one good thing to say about them. the runner size is very misleading and confusing because you can have a 190cc runner size that flows significantly less than a 180 runner due to poor design etc. also, a good flowing 190 cc runner is way more than you need for that engine, and can actually make it run worse overall than a head with a smaller runner etc. good flowing heads with a 170 cc runner are more than good enough for a stock or nearly stock 351 i guarantee it, unfortunately, good flowing heads like trick flow and afr and brodix etc, are expensive. also, it is wise to disassemble any chinese head and check out the valve guide fit and valve seal etc before you use them. you also need to check the valve tip height if you do not have adjustable rockers.

1970 FB Toe Board Hole Repair

I think your going to find the rust through is mush larger that you think. As stated get all of the rust and start poking around with a pick of screw driver to see what it thin and needs to be replaced. Do it once and not need to go back in a few years and do it again.

1970 FB Toe Board Hole Repair

I'd replace the toe board section with NPD metal and mig welded. Practice with some 19ga coupons on your plug and butt welds.
