newstang 388 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 Hi Guys, here is my current project, Bought this car for 1k and replaced everything except the roof itself. Ok, also the outer rockers cause it was the only thing holding it together as all other parts go on. Im looking for some 69 fenders and hood if anyone is local in CT and price is reasonable. I'll post a few pics , but the photobucket shows daily progress. 10 zapedVem, kapedVem, fapedVem and 7 others reacted to this

newstang 388 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 Catching up to current. as of today the tail is all welded in with quarters ( in the rear ) Modified side marker rear to flush LED. So far everything fits well. The Dynacorn Full Quarters are great! , not the same as the Junk quarter skins, they are completely different stampings. I grew up in Fairfield County (a half century ago) and bought my Mustang in Norwalk. It was sold new at Coppolla Ford in Fairfield.

stangnet33 88 Report post Posted January 12, 2017 Really awesome work !! I've been a little disappointed in my car past few days on the stuff I keep finding but this was a reminder on how bad it could be. Your wife's car looks really nice as well. How did you go about using '68 lenses for the flush tail lights on your wifes car ?
